With eighteen original songs, Gary, Indiana rhymesayer Freddie GibbsBaby Face Killa LP is chock-full of the good stuff and by “good stuff” I do mean “immensely dope records.” Among those records is stand out selection Walk In Wit The M.O., which features fellow emcee Dom Kennedy and is set to a pleasingly mellow beat. On the record, Gangsta Gibbs proclaims that it’s “money over b**ches” after getting in an introductory verse on the pursuit of both dough and women. Kennedy instead opts for a more braggodocious verse as he comments on trips to foreign places and associating with ballers. Production is heavy on the keys as Spanish DJ/producer trio Cookin Soul work their magic behind the boards. Walk In With The M.O. can be found on the DJBooth favorite’s Baby Face Killa LP, available for stream and purchase at DJBooth.
