After dropping The Big Deal and subsequently being featured by outlets like AllHipHop and DJBooth, emcee Fred Knuxx began putting together a blend of funky cuts for his forthcoming album, Delafornia, due out next year. Fresh off his honeymoon and right into our booth, it seems Knuxx may have found a special lady to walk down the aisle with, but hip hop has left him a little Sidetracked. The Mid-Atlantic rap champion, who has won over many listeners with his crisp sound and unique lyrics, tells his story over producer THX’s cinematic soundtrack. While hip hop heads continue to doubt Delaware, Knuxx continues to prove that as long as you work hard, you can make any relationship work out for the best.

Hot damn, this one caught me off guard. I usually rate the artist THEN the production, but I gotta give most props to THX on this one. Crazy beat on here, really has that street look. Knuxx is pretty good on here, but this could have been bigger with another artist taking the mic.

Nice suave delivery, relaxed vibe, sick production and GREAT burns. Freddy... keep it up.

I'm kinda torn about this beat. Its alil abstract. Reminds me somewhat of a old talib Kweli type joint. Fred doesn't really do justice to this beat for me. This is not something I'm gonna be listening to again.

Love the bass and the percussion pattern! The piano on the background sets a creepy mood... no wonder they do the exquisite breakdown at the end and give an encore: it’s that good if you’re into eclectic musical production. Not the subject I’d like to hear on it, but Fred was good on his own.

The production is excellent to me, it's a great mix of sounds and effects, it's energetic and has a good vibe. His flow isn't bad but he would need more energy, I'm listening only to the music. I don't think I will listen to this again, but it's in rotation
