Sucker emcees beware – Fred Knuxx is ready to to take over the whole damned game! In stark contrast to the more subdued, old-school feel of previous features Chips, Sidetracked, and Bring Back More, digital LP inclusion Lock N Load, is pure white-knuckle intensity; the Delaware up-and-comer showcases a newfound aggressiveness on the verses, shooting hostile but frequently funny barbs at his competition (“You fashion rappers get buried in your designer coffins). It’s Dipset producer A Million, however, who really amps up the tension, delivering a jittery melange of relentless hi-hat, orchestral hits and bloodcurdling screams. It’s kinda overwhelming, especially if you went as heavy on the coffee as I did this morning. If this two-fisted track gets you hyped to hear more from Fred Knuxx, you can download a copy of The Big Deal when it hits online retailers in late November. In addition, fans can keep it locked to the Booth for more on Knuxx’ long-awaited, Untitled studio album, coming sometime in 2010.

Damn! Just one listen and I promise you'll become a fan. Seriously, ten seconds into the record and you'll be saying "damn." This is a BANGER in every which way.

For me, this track will have to grow on me. And I don't think it will that long. Nice flow and attention grabbing beat.

Damn! are we listening the same song, Z?
I agree production is strong but it JUST bangs, other than that there is no melody, sounds all over the place (needs a breakdown somewhere) and noises make this a lil too repetitive. That being said, Fred Knuxx managed to spit some decent lyrics with a nice flow. Overall, just like his past joints its enough to listen to again but not enough to remember. 2.5

Z this is a Banger. The beat is crazy and Fred Knuxx had some catchy lines "call me casket cuz I'm golden when I hold a mike". Clever..... Definitely something different from what's out there.

Man this track gets you amped. I feel the production could be better though. Its got a little too much going on. Good for the gym though, for real.
