Freck Billionaire has often been overshadowed by his more famous friend, Fabolous, but this emcee is out to prove that he’s his own man with the new street album The Rich Young Report. For the album’s single, Freck enlists fellow rhymers Red Cafe, also a New York staple, Ricky Jewelz, and Fab himself for Money Chasers. Over a twinkling, ghetto-fabulous beat, the four friends trade tales of just how they survived the ghetto to make it to the top of the charts. Freck’s blunt, slick rhymes about his own street cred mesh well with Jewelz’s slippery-synth club rhythms to create a hood anthem. With strong industry support and tough lyrics, watch for this Philadelphia native to come into his own as a rapper on The Rich Young Report, out now.
Beat has my head noddin. Fab stood out, but honestly I'm still trippin off what I'm seein on myspace. I'm prayin its just a joke. Fatt Kidd of broken equipment sopostly committed suicide. I know those kids are jokesters so this may be a joke. If not, I'm very sorry to hear this. Prayers Up 4 them either way.
I never heard of this dude but after reading that Loso and Cafe are on this i had high hopes...Freck was so so, Cafe's voice but he really does need to lay off the "what else" phrase...its old and enoying and Fab to me was kinda lame on this...kinda hurts me to say that
Freck has a nice flair on the mic; he is, however, overshadowed by his good buddy Fab, whose presence on the track does slightly more to distract than to spotlight. Overall the production is solid.
Typical song about money...
I'm not one to criticize,
and no offense to Frecky,
but he looks like a mini version of the rock guy off Fantastic Four lmfao!
