Where have you been Frankie?  I’ve missed you!  I heard you released some albums over the past few years, but honestly nothing’s really caught my ear since your 2005 release The One. Such a shame, I’ve always loved your smooth tenor. Nice to see you’re back to work in the studio and crafted the catchy, if somewhat cliché, Dream Girl. Mark “MK” Kinchen’s beat is pretty standard 2010 pop/r&b fair, with little to no surprise factor. The same goes for featured rapper David Rush (who may be replaced by Pitbull on a later version), who drops a verse it sounds like he wrote on a post-it. Frankly Frankie (see what I did there?), I’m less than impressed with the track overall. As a fan of yours Mr. J, I wish you would have taken more of a risk instead of following today’s formula, but I completely understand your motivation and the real purpose of this song; to get asses on the dance floor and spins on the radio, which I’m sure are not far behind.  That being said, do your thing Frankie, and I’ll wait for the next track to realmente me impresiona.

is it just me or does his voice seem weaker than his earlier work. the track feels a little lazy to me.

Lacking a little spark with this song. Maybe more exciting production, or maybe just more dynamic vocals would improve this overall but decent offering from Frankie.

just like all the other rnb songs out there... nothing impressive, although the beat is a bit catchy and i kinda like the hook. could have featured another rapper, maybe luda can tear this track apart.

Whats the formula for an artist who been M.I.A for years? Come back with a generic, barely catchy techno inspired song. Its ALWAYS an epic fail.

I dont agree with the reviewer, Im feeling the track, its catchy and once a club remix is released it will have the extra thump for the clubs. This version is oviously a radio edit, so I expect it soft, Frankie is a singer, cant expect him to get rowdy...he can sing, the producer was able to blend the track to compliment Frankies voice and style. He needs to maintain a smooth feel, anything outside of that would not be a Frankie J sound. I dont want to hear a 2005 Frankie, I want to hear a 2011, with different sounds and hooks. Cant wait for the Club RMX!

I think Jessica nailed it in her blurb. Frankie is capable of more and this is middle of the pack. Regardless, good to hear from him again.

Im really liking this from Frankie. He made a really good song here, with a bunch of great thing in it. I love the production from Marc "MK' Kinchen. Its interesting and a very enjoyable listen. The featuring of David Rush is a perfect fit for this. He did very good in this. And i love the hook in this; its so catchy. This is defenitly the most enjoyable song on djbooth for today. I cant wait to hear more from Frankie. Im liking this different look for him. This is a banger, for sure.

I'm not feeling these techno influenced beats as much as I used to. Wait a minute, is that a level of musical maturity growing inside me? hmm...
