Frank Ocean - Pink Matter (Remix)
Artist: Frank Ocean
Featuring: Big Boi , Andre 3000
Producer: Frank Ocean
Album: Channel Orange
Label: Def Jam
Whether it’s a new pair of Jordans or not getting that date with the fair lady you’ve been courting, you don’t always get what you want. Another example is Hip Hop’s strong desire for an Outkast reunion. But what happens when Andre 3000 and Big Boi end up on the same record? Not necessarily a reunion, but we’ll gladly take it since the last time we heard the two together GW Bush was in office. This reunion (of sorts) arrives courtesy of Frank Ocean’s Pink Matter (Remix). If you listened to the Grammy-nominated Channel Orange then you’ve already heard the original rendition with Frank and Andre, but today’s feature contains a new verse from Sir Lucious Left Foot. Keeping Ocean’s original production intact, Big Boi swoops in and provides his thoughts on his favorite type of matter: the pink kind. Think of it this way; instead of the date with our lady interest, we happened to dine at the same restaurant during the same time she did. Hopefully we’ll get that reunion soon, but for now, press play and enjoy the Pink Matter (Remix).

I always thought there was something missing from this track and Big Boi fills the void. His verse is great makes the track complete. It even makes me Andre's verse stronger. Now, if only we could get a whole album....

Definitely fills that void. 3 of the most amazing artists of our time on one of the most soulful tracks. Dre's verse speaks to me, "bad at being good" so real.
