Flyy Academy - WGP (White Girl Party) ft. o8o (of Thunderkatz)
Artist: Flyy Academy
Featuring: o8o (of the TKatz!)
Producer: Jaguar Skills
Album: Greatness at its Greatest
Label: SunnySide Up (Indie)
Thanks to Girls Gone Wild DVDs and celebrity gossip websites like MediaTakeout.com, white girls have developed an unfortunate stigma. While most Caucasian females will tell you not to judge them because of the actions of a few bad eggs, some stereotypes are simply too difficult to fight. It is for this very reason, amongst several others that really don’t matter, that Atlanta duo Flyy Academy, which consists of Davy P. and D.J., has created a brand new record entitled WGP (or White Girl Party.) Featuring o8o of Universal Motown‘s TKatz!, who also will be exec-producing their debut album, Greatness at its Greatest, and producer Jaguar Skills (see GemStones’ We On), the record is a drinking and smoking anthem in the making. Though DJBooth doesn’t support drug use or underage drinking, we do endorse catchy music!

This one caught me off guard, I thought it was going to be one of those pop'ish types of tracks, but damn, this one killed! Crazy production on this, I'm not down with the lyrics though. A little too strong push for attention with the strong subject matter. Still, a good song to say the least.

Jaguar Skills eh? You know he/they produced "We On" by Lupe Fiasco and GemStones. This did catch me off guard as well....they sort of reminded me of a watered down version of Little Brother. I can only give it rotation though. It sounds like a little clutter and just too silly.

I wish the beat was not as complex.. I concur that there is just too much going on in the background.

I don't like this song. The music is too intrusive and complex (thanx tylercocinas) and the voices sound completely out of tune and don't fit the production at all...dude hasn't a bad flow but it doesn't help the song to improve! OK coz at least it has energy

This beat is hot on steroids, meaning if they weren't trina be so abstract with it, it would be fire. This is the epitome of a producer tring far too hard to be different. I actually would like it if it didn't give me a headache while listening to it. Not to mention that it drowns out the Mcs completely. Not good, coulda been, but fell apart.
