I’m trying to find the words to say this without being disrespectful, but personally speaking, I’d rather listen to a Yung Berg mixtape than David Guetta’s hit track Sexy B*tch again. It was enjoyable the first twenty times, but after the 10,379th time I heard that synth heavy beat comes across my radio dial, I was done. Luckily, and remarkably, just like they did on previous offering I Want It All, always eclectic crew Fly Gypsy have given the cut new life by significantly reworking it for their Sexy B*tch (Remix). On the sonic side of the equation producer Alexei gives the original beat a decidedly more up-tempo makeover, adding in horns and kinetic drums, and lyrically emcee Kowboy Kon pays tribute to the fairer sex with some party-ready lyrics sure to pack a dance floor. And now for the “which is better, the original or remix?” portion of the program. So, which one will it be? Those feelin Fly Gypsy’s remix skills should stoked to learn that their FG*XL:remixtape is set to drop in early April.

I wasn't a huge fan of the original version, which is (in part) why we passed on featuring it at DJBooth.net, but what Kom adds vocally here changes the equation for me. Yes, it has gone on to do big things at radio, but the song is electronically soaked and with no rapper on Guetta's original version it didn't have a natural urban appeal. That all changes with Fly Gypsy and for the better.

Still... only rotation.

I felt this definitely brought new life to a way overplayed song. I wasn't feelin the verses on the original, which is why this is so refreshing. They really came hard on this and the hook is still tight.

This is something I would never listen to alone, but if I was out somewhere, I would get down to this real quick!

I respect the hell out of Fly Gypsy for remixing this, and remixing it in the truest sense, not in the "i'll add a new verse and call it a remix" sense. With that said, my aggravation with the original appears to have reached the point where I'm having a hard time even enjoying anything associated with it. Average out to three stars.

Nothing to special. The beat is played out but nice for the dance floor of a club.

This is waaaaay better than the original! The original sucked! I like that this song is female-empowering while maintaining a healthy vain of disrespect if that's even possible. And Fly Gypsy brought Prince into the mix..thats outrageous...I dig it!

Nooo!! I remember on facebook I asked if they would do a remix of someone like Lifehouse and they said they would do Green Day (which should be awesome), but I hate David Guetta, I never liked it the first time and my abhoration grew with every time the played it on the radio (so my hate stand really tall now). And I agree with Mr. Top Hat, "wildflower is an amazing song, and this is such a far stretch from that. Still a solid remix but, not the FG style, they should remix a John Mayer song or something.
