Flo Rida - Why You Up in Here
Artist: Flo Rida
Featuring: Ludacris , Gucci Mane , Git Fresh
Producer: KnoBody
Album: The Only One
Label: Poe Boy/Atlantic
Flo Rida may have a penchant for watching shawtys get Low on the dancefloor and yes, a skilled pole-dancer can make his head spin Right Round, but the man’s no fool, and he can easily tell the difference between a chick who’s into him and a tease with ulterior motives. On Why You Up in Here the latest leak off his third studio album, the Panhandle State hitmaker encounters a member of the latter category and, with the help of a few heavyweight cohorts, gives said suspicious female the third degree over an arpeggiated-synth instrumental by KnoBody. After some characteristically high-energy flows from the headliner, guest-rapper extraordinaire Luda jumps on board to scold the girl in question for “playin’ with his emotions” in his dope-as-usual middle verse, and Gucci Mane spends his closing bars doing, well, exactly what you’d expect: ‘brrr’-ing, bottle-popping and showing off his ice. In between their bars, Miami’s Git Fresh drop in to provide some catchy R&B hook vocals. Listeners digging this star-studded cut can find Up in Here on Rida’s The Only One LP, which has yet to receive a solid drop date.

Dont really care too much for Flo-rida....seems like he trying to get his street credit back again. Was excited to hear ludacris, but then he sounded tired, almost spitting like he didnt want to do it. The hook was real good though. The funny thing is that just because Flo-rida goes first its "His Song"??? only 1 verse from Flo and 3 other people on it...SMH

Fun, but rather forgettable. The production here is catchy, but totally based off the current "flavor of the month" sound going around the industry.
And on top of that slight criticism, I would have rather heard about 2,000 other emcees over Gucci Mane. Why match two high-energy emcees with someone who sounds doped up on codeine syrup? |

For me, people who work with Gucci lose respect and should be ashamed. Why Luda?

This song got steadily worse as it went on. I coulda given it a 5 after FloRida's verse. Luda didn't do anything special. Then Gucci ended the track as expected- a bunch of mumbling around elementary wordplay.

Chourus is definitely the strongest part of this track. Second comes Luda who always brings it.

This is the first Flo-Rida song that's alright...I didn't say I like it that much, but I don't have to switch it off + I like Luda's part!

Goddamnit. I really, really don't want to like this track, but I just can't help myself. That beat's hypnotizing and the hook's incredibly catchy. Obviously Luda's verse is 3x better than Gucci's and Flo's, but I still can't stop myself from nodding my head.
Let's get a remix together with some ill emcees asap please. Thanks. |

Yeah typical Flo Rida track, most of which are as DJ Z says "Fun, but rather forgettable". And I couldn't agree more. The hook and Luda's verse are the best part of this song.

Chorus is the only thing catchy here. Rapping is below average, and not even Luda could improve that.

Yeah seriously, these songs sound allllll the same....this has a good vibe but its just not that exciting...Gucci....STEP YOUR RAP GAME UP OR STEP OUT OF THE RAP GAME!!!!
One question though, how is this a Flo Rida track when he has a 40 second verse in a 3 and a half minute track??? |

I like the track! I don't really care for flo-rida that much but his flow was cool on this one. Luda did pretty good. The person that I'm most impressed with is Gucci though. He is nowhere near a 5 star MC but i can definatly see that he is trying and making progress. Good job!

you all hate on gucci so much. its not his fault he puts out a bunch of silly lyrics and loud bass lines and ppl love him.. thats what ppl want right now. if you ask me how gucci is good ill ask you why you liked tha carter 3? that album sucked but a bunch of loud bass lines and fruity lyrics is what the idiotic public wants right now. i give it a 3 on principle
