When Flo Rida went through the recording and selection process for his debut album, Mail on Sunday (released March 18), he must have noticed that virtually no major-label rapper over the past year had gone without enlisting T-Pain for a hook. Sharing the same home state as Teddy, Flo was able to snag not one, but two features from the Tallahassee hero. While we’ve all heard the worldwide winter anthem, Low, DJBooth presents the one that missed the cut, I Bet. Although the “other” strip club-ready song didn’t make the album, it shouldn’t be seen as a sign of insufficient song quality; after all, the popular street bangers Birthday, Bout It Gal, and Gotta Eat were left off too.
This is definitely much slower than "low" and would of not generated as much attention or revenue as "low". T-pain doesn't sound as fresh and crisp on this track. Flo Rida has the same style--it's become to mundane. He needs to expand his game. I know he is relatively new but his rhyming style always sounds the same.
Flo Rida is a JOKE to me; honestly. He doesn't really have lyrical skill in my opinion. He raps like MC Hammer did for the Adams Family track like 15 years ago! This doesn't even sound like T-Pain...I don't think he was into it either. When the machine is done Raping Flo Rida after this album; then we will see how quickly we forget about Flo Rida...
im really not feelin this song at all but really blaze you dont like flo rida i think he has a good styl its diffrent then the same stuff weve been hearin and artist trien to sound like other artist
this shit is here was a waste of time the recording the production M. Burmy u wasted time puttin this shit up and i jus wasted time listin to 2:30MIN OF MY LIFE .......
I thought it was worse than this when I started the player...it's not extremely bad! Anyway it's true, it's purely for clubs, it's very commercial! I don't know if he got lyrical skills or not, I should check in a lyrics site lol! I take you word for right
4/5 ... i hate Flo-Ridas voice ... with a passion ... however i enjoyed his album ... this guy wont last long ... this song is a banger tho ... gotta giv credit where its due ...
i totally agree with everything dj blaze said can't wait to see this fool leave the game with his stupid name flo rida which really should be pronounce florida. whatever
well he must be good if he's on the top of the charts... And this song is straight.. He's different.. ButImma be laughin my a** off when he's around for years to come and ya'll still gonna be hatin on him... FLORIDA all day!!!!!!!
Boss Dogg i am with you.. Its florida not flo rida this guy thinks he can put a space and it makes a diffrence i give you elevator and low but your album is wack and timbo was capitalizing off you having a hype with your first single made you a hot beat got some doe now who you got thats going to make your wack as$ a club track .. ? i anit feeling this only play 2 of his songs because they are ok and are club rockers
i actually lyk it a little n flo rida is pretty good to me he just needs to switch it up every now and then he just lyk yung berg because his lyrics lack but i lyk his voice
man, you all talk abiut switchin up styles and all. Well i think you all need to look outside your box, and realize this song is hot. This shows that hes diverse and can cater to evryones taste, not just all gangsta stuff. And thats why his album was rated soooo high.!!!!
Flo Rida is #1 great song people keep sayin they don't like Flo Rida why are you finding him and playing the music.Again stop HATIN and dance you know you want too. I don't wanna keep listenin to gangsta rap feels good to hear somethin layed back this is a talented dude and dj yank don't put yourself out there like that you probably spin the table out of your room for your close neighbors and put on that Flo Rida to make your crowd move. All I'm saying how you cpuld hate someone you don't know or met. If he makin dollas then it got to make sense. Now find your nitch dare to be different and to add the album is FIRE!!!
This isn't Low; this isn't anything close... BUT... it certainly is good enough to get plays in the club, strip club, and the whip (with the windows up/top down). I honestly cannot believe that everyone is so critical of Flo. He isn't tryna front... this is his sound.
Flo Rida is very over-rated in my opinion, and even though sometimes he does alright, he just never does enough. I did like him on this, but his voice doesn't sound natural, and only T-Pain can pull that off. Good track though for a party.
It's probably a good thing this song wasn't on the album...and to me all his songs sound the same except for his shit from the streets like birthday and gotta eat...those go hard
Damn Blaze went hard at him....this shit is catchy...but I swear if he dont switch up that flo and rida beat differently it will be a rap for his ass..he had like what 3 million downloads and then sold like 60k albums
quite hatin on flo rida! how many hits have you guys made?....oh yeah none! lol he's tight and has a tight voice! im with real on this one, he knows whats up!
Air: were not hatin were critics, reviewers. we listen and we comment. so you need to stop hating on our right djbooth gave us to say how badly flo rida and his album was
