When Flo Rida first announced his debut album would be entitled Mail on Sunday, many fans questioned his ability to succeed as much as they did the meaning of the title. Since then, however, the Opa Locka native has released the biggest digital hit of all-time, followed by the almost-as-successful, Elevator. On Part 2 of his current single, Flo keeps the same verses (albeit in a higher tone), and also makes up for Timbo‘s absence on the hook (and the beat… which was changed out). Also making an appearance is Poe Boy label mate, Brisco, who awaits Flo Rida on the fourth floor (past all the gold diggers, dime pieces and hood rats). Mail on Sunday (which means Flo Rida delivers every day of the week) is in stores now.
Damn man! I am so tired of Flo-Rida and his flow. This beat is fast and crazy and unoriginal. I am not feeling this track at all. Just weak lyrics and weak beat in my opinion.
Now that I have listened to this track, it's become VERY obvious that the first version of this track with timba was ONLY good because of the timbaland beat. How can you go from a timbaland beat to a 2nd rate low rent generic beat that is on this song??
true dat frozilla33, you took every word out of my mouth! Brisco is the only reason I waited on this track, always been a fan of Bris, and he's gonna come up, he deserves to so much! and Flo Rida bores me, he's so annoyin with that strange flow of his, I aint never been a hater, but he needs to get out of the rap game for real! 2*s for Brisco's small addition.
Gotta say I'm disappointed in this. The beat's bangin, but Flo sounds like nails on a chalkboard right here. At least you can understand the lyrics a little better though
Ha, its funny that everyone is now getting "tired" of Flo-Rida. Ya'll were just on his d*ck a few weeks ago!! I said it before, and I'll say it again...I cannot stand Flo-Rida!!
lol, that is exactly what I was thinking mmoore1127!!! Ya'll were just on his d*ck a few weeks ago!! Be coherent people. Nothing changed, he’s just never been a good rapper! His voice’s been always annoying. But when you have a Timbo beat, who cares? I'll never listen to this again unless they play it in the club.
It is amazing how the ratings for a song can take a plunge once the beat is traded out. Makes you wonder where ANY of these artists would be today if it wasn't for the solid production work behind them.
why in the world would he take timbo off this song? that was the only thing hiding how much flo-rida sucks! Low wouldnt have gotten anywhere w/out t-pain either
the first was pretty nice... i like flo rida his flow is like nelly's cuz he's fast n half-sings his verses...his verses are tight if u ask me but the beat sucks n he cuda sarted da song wit bris on da 4th floor n did flo rida goes up to 5th and 6th
yeah flo rida's flows all sound the same... but the point is they don't sound like anybody else's! Very few rappers sound different from track to track... r you trying to tell me you can't tell that it's Jay-z four words into the first verse of any song he's ever done? wtf? if you don't like someones sound then cool but don't whine that they sound the same on everything - that's just their gimmick and ya gotta have one to get noticed. Period. As far as this song goes, they shouldn't have fixed it cause it wasn't broke...
This shows that the beat makes the song!!!!! a lot of yall are saying that part one wuz betta..... it's not that it was betta... Timbo put that fire on his beats and it kinda leaks ova into the lyrics (or so it seems) but when you take Timbo away... ya eyes are open to how much it sucked in the first place! TIMBO IS A BEAST!!!! IT'S EVIDENT IN HIS BEATS.... that's why they cost so much... HE CAN MAKE EVEN THE WACKEST (THIS ONE) SONG SOUND GOOD!
