Some artists just have a great ear for beats. And while some of the most lyrical rappers can occasionally be instrumentally-challenged (see: Nas), there are still some dog-eared emcees out there today. Flo-Rida is one of those artists; the muscular top 40 entertainer’s hit songs are known for having the type of sound that mixtape murderers like Lil Wayne salivate to spit over. Luckily on Fresh I Stay (Pt. 2), Flo-Rida invites Weezy to feast on this gourmet banger, although the best rapper alive does threaten to eat his lunch. With scratches, a dope tropical sample, and a gang of ferocious drums courtesy of producer Fiend, Fresh I Stay undoubtedly goes hard. Flo-Rida and Wayne are equally tough as both emcees compliment the production like a well-dressed prom date, but Weezy steals the show like a teacher’s pet with A grade bars like, “Man my money long, call me Stretch Armstrong.” If you’re feeling Fresh I Stay then make sure that you cop Flo’s new album The Only One whenever the label brass lock down a release date.

The title of this record appropriately expresses my thoughts - its mad fresh. This is such a distinctly different sound from what we've heard from Flo Rida the past two years... and it works.

This would hit without the Wayne contribution, but with it expect big things. I'm a fan.

The second time these two are hooking up and it seems like Flo Rida can't not make a record that won't get played. A different Flo Rida then we've heard is good because I was getting to see too much of the same thing. Weezy does his thing as always. I'll join Z on this one I'm on board.

Big fan of this record, completely different style for Flo but he needed something new. So glad to see his progress as an artist and coming with this instead of a club-pop radio song. This will be a hit.

Flo comes out wit a different and even better syle than his usual. Weezy was ok but i thoght his part could've been better.

Overall this is a great song, but not five star, and I think people should listen to this song with potential.

Not really feeling this beat or Weezy's verse. Something really average about this track. It's like it is so unique that I feel like I've heard it before. It's okay, not something I'll listen to again. I'm not so sure that this is radio material but what the hell do I know.

I definately think Flo Rida sounds better on the beat than wayne. Wayne's verse is not bad, I just don't feel it as much. Flo Rida just has a nack for hit-making.

I like this better than is overly-poppy stuff he had out last year. Seems to last a little long, kinda gets boring on Weezy's verse. It'll grow on me though. 3.5 stars

This is the type of Flo-Rida I like to hear. Big Drums, and Bounce. Not no pop Sh!t, He needs to nobody listens to him in the hood, so he trying to make it back in there with this track.

This is a pleasant departure from the bubblegum records that have highlighted Flo Rida's career to date. The Drums on this Bang. [Plays Again]

This is dope! Im glad Flo-Rida decided to take it in a new direction, im sick of the same old songs everywhere....although it isnt a 'fresh' concept, Flo & Weezy make it sound like it is..it should get big spins on radio and in the club considering what a bankable artist Flo is. That chorus goes hard btw :)

Ill honest, I actually prefer listening to Flo Rida's pop-rap stuff over the tracks that are targeted at the internet community (like this song).

Everything about this track is good, though it still wont get many spins from me. There's just something missing in it for me to call it a banger. The production is the highlight

Fresh I Stay, featuring Lil Wayne is some head bobbing shit right there, it actually feels more of a Weezy’s track than something Flo Rida would do, but if it’s anything similar to the rest of his album, then count me in.

God that hook makes me want to drink bleach.

Otherwise, I can't front, I was nodding my head to this. Flo-Rida's not the greatest emcee, but he delivers an entertaining flow. And I have to hand it to Wayne, that's some swagger.

"I got b**tches at home, I'm like can you call me back, cause Sportscenter is on."

Laughed out loud on that one.

Although the production is high energy I think Flo-Rida lacks the energy he displays on his pasts hits on this particular track. As for Lil' Wayne, he's decent on here, nothing more, nothing less.

Right off the bat, the hook is just pure garbage. Accompanied by some grimy production Flo Rida attempts to change up his party, over-zealous anthem style with a more "street" ready record. I can't say I'm liking it as much as my fellow booth members. The change up with the verses and hook is really nothing to get too excited about.

Lil Wayne was his usual Lil Wayne self and Flo Rida was acceptably bearable during his verses. I wouldn't consider this terrible, but if Flo Rida was trying to take a different route with his music, he must have taken a mis-step. 2.5 for me.

Beat is FRESH. Different style from Flo Rida. This could've done better without Wayne on it. The hook is catchy and sounds good with the beat. I wonder what Part 1 sounds like.
