The first two singles off FlightSch‘s next studio album, Dreamer and Night Syndrome (No Love), found the T-Dot artist looking to his fantasies for solace from loneliness. On his latest effort, a Booth-exclusive world premiere, he’s still on the hunt for inner peace, but he’s beginning to worry that the paradise he seeks will remain forever out of reach. I’m not sure whether Neverland 2.0‘s title indicates that it’s a sequel, or refers to a new and improved version of Neverland; even if we are jumping into a story in progress though, it’s easy to relate to the longing in Flight’s vocals and guest emcee Diz‘s rapped bars, which are delivered over the headliner’s own moody electronic production. Feeling it? Then be sure to cop the artist’s Dreamer LP, next Monday (7/14), when it drops exclusively via The DJBooth.
