Feroz - Who Dat
Producer: Elite & J. Cole
Album: Untitled Debut Album
Label: Unsigned
The 181st entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Feroz, the Pakistan-born, Jersey based up-and-comer who earned reader approval for Invisible Man tracks Bring the Money Home and Gunz N Rozes. On his brand new, exclusive Who Dat freestyle, the currently-unsigned emcee flows over an industry instrumental originally featured on J. Cole‘s cut of the same name (co-produced by Elite and the artist himself). Feroz is currently working on his yet-untitled debut studio album – keep it locked for release details, as well as all the latest tunes!
Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 5), featuring exclusive freestyles 121 through 150, here! Volumes one, two and three and four are available for download here, here, here and here!

Big fan of Feroz, who splashed onto our pages not that long ago with Invisible Man.
Feroz' selection of J. Cole's new single instrumental is interesting, as I recall reading that Cole is actually upset that the instrumental was made available to the masses. If he listens to Feroz get better and better as the freestyle progresses, though, I'm not sure how he could be overly pissed. A worthy addition to our series. |

I don't know where Feroz has been, but I'm just glad to see that he is back. The man has a tremendous amount of talent and I'm glad to see him go in on the J. Cole track.
Very good freestyle all the way through, I just really hope I don't have to wait til the end of the summer to hear new material from this man. Invisible Man mixtape was crazy and this is a step in the right direction. |

Strong freestyle from Feroz. Not better than the original, but it rarely ever is. After this track, I'll certainly give his next song a listen.

This dude sounds pretty cool. I wish he had a different flow towards the end of the track.. maybe riding the guitar instead of the bass. But overall, seems like a Great freestyle. thoughtful rhymes.

"Great Expectations, suck my Charles Dickens haters." Damn wasn't expecting that line. That book sucked. Good flow on this, almost as good as J. Cole's.
