After expressing his Pride N Joy back in May with help from quite a few hip-hop heavyweights, Bronx emcee Fat Joe has recruited a new batch of talent for the songs newly-released remix. Although Los Angeles crooner Miguel is also featured on the record, Pride N Joy (Remix) finds additional appearances from Trey Songz, Ashanti, and Virginia rhyme slinger Pusha T. With the addition of both Songz and Ashanti, the remixed version obviously takes on a much smoother quality when compared with the original. With verses from both Fat Joe and Pusha T, the Bink!-produced cut just barely steers clear of becoming a full out R&B record. Both Pride N Joy (Remix) and the original version of the song can be purchased on iTunes.

Good for Ashanti to get in on the remix fun here. Looks like that longstanding relationship with Joey Crack is still intact. I actually prefer this version over the original.

I wasn't feeling the original. This is better, but it still isn't enough to rope me in. Good to hear Ashanti and Trey Songz did well. How is this still a Fat Joe song he's in for 30 seconds max!

well it is more of a hip-hop/R&B sound I somehow think of Drizzy's composition of tracks. Smooth hit and I like it to an extent, simple but sweet.
