Of all the U.S.’ hip-hop hotspots, Miami is undoubtedly the best vacation destination—take it from Fat Joe, who, though he hails from the Bronx, splits his time between NYC and the MIA (thank you very much, Khaled). It seems that Joe’s time in the Panhandle State has given him a taste for other tropical climates; on the newest potential single off J.O.S.E. 2 (dropping September 22), Joe and two fellow 305 residents take a 6,160-mile journey to say Aloha to the female denizens of sunny Hawaii. Though many will point to Pleasure P‘s Shone-esque hook as this track’s highlight, the main attraction for this writer was hearing Rico Love rap again—despite two-and-a-half years in the strictly-songwriting mode, he hasn’t lost a single step. Complete with a beat by Division One star producers EHood and E2, this cut will doubtless meet a Booth reception as warm as the weather in the state that inspired it.

I'm not a fan of Fat Joe at all. All of his albums have one (2 at the most) good songs and those are made by the featured artist and the production. I don't even know if I could stand a Fat Joe solo track these days. I liked Pleasure's hook on here. Fat Joe wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything above average either. Rico's production was tight though. Rotation I guess.

What happened to Fat Joe? It seems like he is incapable of providing the consistency he showed earlier in his career. Pleasure P and Rico Love both provide ear-candy-esque contributions - which might allow this record to see some radio action - but will do nothing to cement Joe's longevity past this forthcoming project and slightly tarnishes the accomplishments he reached earlier in his career.

Sh*t like this is what makes people leave negative posts about fat joe .... Fat Joe’s early years of his career were great, but his career has regressed and not progressed. Every album he puts out is worse than the one before and he is constantly trying to bite whatever’s hot at the time. His recently leaked joint titled "Music" has to be one of the best song I have heard in a long time from Joey.
I don't see this track doing any damage on the radio ... OK. |

It seems like Fat Joe can't do solo on all tracks i have heard, it's always featuring this n that. Props for pleasure n Rico for making the song and the beat.
BTW couldn't they changed the topic to something else "Aloha" I mean come on. |

This song is so generic...fat joe is garbage he adds nothing to the song...matter fact, was he even on this track?? lol. even if Plies was on this he could make this so much better...pleasure p is good, rico love had a good verse, but im sick of this im so fly, shawty im the sh*t, make it rain bs rappers are putting out, thinking its going to generate radio play thus generating interest in their cd which is most probably gonna be wack anyway. Nuff said

agree with the other comments, beat and chorus are great, fat joe, not so much. the synth is a bit too whiny in the chorus i think tho. but the beat can still mask fat joe's mediocrity.

Have to be honest the name of the song at first is a lil lame but once i heard the song i loved it. I played it a few times and cant get it out of my head. Has a get beat and chorus. Def somethin different compared to the same old shit that gets played over or remixed into a different verison. Has some originality. Propssss... :)
