Fat Joe and Lil’ Wayne have hooked up once again (see Make It Rain) for the first single off Joe’s upcoming album, The Elephant In The Room. Over a hauntingly addictive beat from Steve Morales, Joe spits his typical ‘the streets love’ me slang and Weezy goes absolutely nuts on the chorus; if someone could have an aneurysm while recording and still sound good, its Wayne. While The Crack House will buzz only on the streets (radio wouldn’t dare touch it,) the song should bide enough time until the official single drops as a precursor to the album’s release on March 11th.
nope not feelin it. i think he had to repeat himself too many times because he ran out of rhymes...I used to do that in like 3rd grade. Wayne...sometimes i think he just run in the booth and say random shit. lol. somehow he always sound like a philosopher tho. =o?
... it's not just you DjRoyale trust.
This is pretty weak...well I think most Fat Joe is stupid. Lil wayne is the best, but it might be going to his head thinking he can put out anything...I hope he gets it right for carter 3...
Itz okae.. iv heard beta from Fat Joe thow and I rek0n he couldV pulled it off but 4 sum reas0n he didnt & i think the whole song iz kinda weak. Lil wayne definately saved it dow.. the lyrics are pretty average 2..
Fat joe got half way done with the song and said "oh shit" this is wack, Someone come save this track, Just then lil Wayne flies down and spits on it. Whew! Oh thank you dreaded one!
Honestly I cant hate on this song. The beat is pretty good and Lil' Wayne makes it tight. Fat Joe isn't horrible either but its obvious that Weezy makes this song.
Fat Joe blows. He is still rapping about crack. Wasn't that like 3 or 4 albums ago. These guys are big now, and still rapping like they're stuck in that bad enivronment. They made this song like 8 years ago. Come on guys, make real songs. Like they are recycling lyrics and songs. Desperate man! I'm not even feeling Lil' Wayne like I used to a couple years ago. He is totally not the same from 2 years ago. He turned teenie bop hip hop, trying to be like Jay-Z and freestyle his verses. At least Jay can stick to a subject and not go off on some other bullshit, like Wayne does. If they really were smart, they would make something more interesting to listening to. No doubt the beat is good, but the lyrics suck! Str8 up!
