In my review of Fashawn’s dope new album Boy Meets World I wrote that the Cali-based emcee finds hip-hop hope in a world that can often feel devoid of it. Case in point: Samsonite Man, the third single off the album. Exile, who produced the entire album, delivers another soulful piece of quality beat work for Fashawn to tell his tales of both physical and mental journeying over, and the man delivers with everyman lyrics like: “It’s the heart that guides me, my mind just follows.” Add a strong guest verse from fellow Californian Blu and you’ve got another solid addition to Fashawn’s growing résumé. Will this track do for Samsonite luggage what Diddy did for Cristal wine? I doubt it, but I do smell a new theme song for the company (I want 10 percent of the deal). Keep it locked to DJBooth.net for all the latest from Fashawn and Boy Meets World.

Very soulful and very nice production. His verses were lacking though for the beat, thought he could have came alittle harder, i liked it though. In rotation.

Powerful Music! that transcends cultural boundaries and be relevant to people of all walks of life. And I got lost in that chorus. Certified BANGER!!!!

Fashawn has dropped one of the most impressive albums of the year with Boy Meets World. I don’t see how Fashawn can top it, though I know he will.

this is one of my favorite cuts on the album, the hook is a little repetitive, but its a solid track nonetheless

BLU is crazy. He is one of the illest lyricist doing it, man. He delivered an awesome guest verse on here and he was the highlight of the song for me. Exile's production is great as usual and Fashawn and Blu sounded right at home on it. Haven't heard the album but I do want to check it out.
