The 21st entry in our exclusive freestyle series comes courtesy of Fashawn, the 20-year-old emcee who brought us Evidence collabo Our Way and Sunday Morning (k-os Remix). The Fresno native, who flows over an instrumental by Love Unlimited Orchestra on his brand new Midnight Groove freestyle, is currently preparing for the summer release of debut LP Boy Meets World, which will be produced entirely by Exile. In addition, Fashawn has been working on new material in collaboration with Alchemist, Muggs, DJ Babu, and more.

OOOOH $hit! That's how I feel when I hear Fashawn come on the track! I can't stop bobbing my head to this dude's lyrics! This is the first time I am hearing about him, but I will keep my eyes and ears open from now on! He has a SICK flow on here, and the beat is definitely one that few other rappers would even think about freestyling on. GOOD JOB FASHAWN! Thanks for hookin' up Da Booth!!!! BANGER status!

One of the best so far, Ive never heard of this Orchestra but that beat its EPIC. Its definitely a hard beat to flow on, but Fashawn makes it seem easy. This freestyle is 100x better than most album cuts. Giving it a five because I havent heard anything better than it in a while.
