Though mainstream hip-hop tends to pigeonhole its artists, one rapper has both sides of the genre on lock—with dual lead singles Throw It In The Bag and It’s My Time (as well as upcoming follow-up Everything Everyday Everywhere), Fabolous proved once again that he can cater to the club and the streets with equal ease. This past Monday afternoon, NYC’s DJ Envy premiered the official remix. Far from your usual “add-a-guest-verse-and-call-it-a-day,” remix, this version features a revamped hook and brand new production by Shatek (who samples original collaborator The-Dream‘s Fancy), as well as some guest bars from a similar-sounding MC who happens to have the #1 hip-hop song in the country right now—in his guest bars, Booth (and female) favorite Drake assures his girl that he can provide everything her heart desires. Loso’s Way is scheduled to arrive in stores and online on the 28th; remember to tune in for Nathan S.‘s review, which will hit our front page soon after the album’s release.

 u know. i think most tuesdays are like the laggiest days on the booth from what i noticed. lol. usually tuesdays songs are just ehhh. nut today is pretty different lol.
this song is HOT. and i didnt like the original. the new production is HOT. drake's verse was good, not his best, but good. and. this song, i can say bangs. |

This remix is sick! Finally a true remix. Everything about this song is tight. The new production is nice as is the hook. Loso comes hard and Drake ripped this beat apart. 4 for the song, but since this is the first true remix I've heard (not the “add-a-guest-verse-and-call-it-a-day” remix like Burmy said) this is a 5. Classic remix.

I thought this version was much better than the original, though I am a fan of the original. The "Fancy" sample was illy and who can go wrong with a Drake featuring right now?
This was fly. For some reason, this whole collab (Fab and Drake) reminded me of when Mase and Kanye connected in 2005 for Mase's "Welcome Back" Remix. Side Note: I saw a couple people saying it was an "eww" moment that Drake was talking about an older woman. I thought that response was awkward. I mean, my young dudes…come on…you know older women be mad fly. Think Vivica, Halle, Stacey Dash, Garcelle, Elise Neal, etc. C’mon on. Plus, here's a sex ed tidbit. A woman’s sex drive is at it’s highest between like 38-43 or something of that nature. Ours is like 18-25 or something. Do the math…or anatomy or whatever…lol. I'm not saying I practice this...I'm just saying...lol. |

Much MUCH better than the original version. All praise due to Drake's dope guest verse and Shatek's new production.
Overall, though, I can't get over the fact that Fab is rapping about going shopping...

Fancy was my fav song on that album, I'm already bias to this. That song was phenomenal. Fab needs to be given his respect for the longevity he has had in this biz. Consistent as hell. He's Been giving us swagger way b4 the word was annoying. Drake murked this as usual. This is a certified hit and in my book just like it predecessor a classic!

"Z"- Fab rappin bout shopping jus shows his creativity and versatility. And he sounds good doin it, which shows that he is all bout quality no matter what topic or what audience he is rappin to.
as for the song, another banger!!!!!!!! Loso has given me 4 bangers in a row now. I think this is jus as good and i like it the same as the original. the orig got a 4 so this one gets a 5 (jus to stay balanced). |

The original was catchy but the beat sounded too corny. I like to call this the "classier" version because of the new beat. The hook is so dope and Fabolous and Drake went in! Classic for sure!

Not sure why this is a remix, nothing has remained the same. They took away the beat(which I loved). They took away The Dream(kinda). The beat kinda feels like a level in Sonic Adventure lol. Drake saves this song

Major props to Shatek for this crazzyy production - ambient background noise, and sped-up RnB vocal sample all laced together into an undeniable head nodder. And then the only darts sharper than the production itself are Loso's braggadocious lyrics.
Mr. Drizzy just keeps on impressing me (yes, Im not totally sold out on him, yet, even though he IS one of my fav rapper's fav rapper) with his verses on "catered-to-ladies-singles" ... 4.5 and let me fix up things for @BDF44. |

I ain't feelin this remix right here! The beat is so annoying and the chrous sounds cheap. Orginial was much better and i'm so tired of Drake. He's becomming overrated (he dosen't even have a album out yet which is odd) but i'm still gonna cop loso's way just to support Fab. Because I feel his music is dope but I hope this remix won't be featured on the album.

This is definately a banger. PRODUCTION IS TIGHT, too cathy. I think it's better then the original, which is exactly what a real remix should do. Fab and Drake are on the same level, they compliment eachother.
