The latest in a long line of artists looking to blur the boundaries between rock, pop and hip-hop, Another World standard-bearer Evan Roberts recently made his mixtape debut with the DJBooth.net-presented Outta Hear EP. If you’ve yet to take a listen to the much-buzzed-about project, Don’t Wanna Hear should be all the convincing you need. This very un-aptly-named leak finds the Orlando native venting his spleen over an estranged ex, showcasing his pipes over production duo/label bosses Oddz.N.Endz’ densely-layered mix of grinding modern-rock guitar, pensive piano loops and sizzling synths. Even if the angstful subject matter isn’t your cup of, um, bile, it’s hard to deny the genre-bending appeal of the headliner’s emotive vocals combined with Booth-approved guest rapper Cory Gunz’ winding guest bars. If you do wanna hear more from this talented up-and-comer, your wish is our command: Outta Hear dropped December 29, and is available for streaming and free download right hear… I mean, here.

First and foremost, really dug the production on this one (props to Oddz N Endz). Take notes Weezy, this is how you mix hard rock and hip-hop - I could definitely hear this being played on a contemporary rock station. Definitely a good new break up anthem, throw up your rock sign and headbang.

You know i really like the production i just think they laid on the rock on too thick!! Also bring the piano up a little more since it almost get's drained out!!
Overall this could of been a classic but for the above reasons it's a banger!!

Agree with @Richard and @Nathan - Part-rock, part-hip-hop, part-pop/RnB, Evan Roberts and company has drawn from extensive musical influences for creation of "Outta Hear".

Some tracks are just very bipolar in nature, as genres are crossed between tempos and vocals, but it’s a cohesive and impressive collection of tracks. Going between so many styles and genres can be risky, but taking that chance to make what one feels is worth the leap of faith turns it into a must-listen project, in my opinion.

This is sick! I listened to most of this guys mixtape and he knows how to be creative. This is what many artists lack these days. Production was great. Evan is on my radar in 2010.

Good track from a pretty solid EP. Evan has got the rock swag Weezy wishes he had.

'Not Like Me At All' is the best track off 'Outta Here', though this is in the top 3
