Last we heard from Estelle, the UK soul singer was reeling in the wake of past heartbreaks, wondering whether a new fella (played by a relatively suave Rick Ross) had what it took to earn her trust and bring her out of her shell. Fast-forward four months, and Rozay is nowhere to be found, but the singer’s healing process certainly seems to be going well; leaked last night via Estelle’s Twitter, Break My Heart‘s official remix finds her once again playing the field. Flowing over Don Cannon‘s silky throwback grooves, not one but three hip-hop heavyweights vie for her affections; Swizz Beatz comes on a little strong on the front, but Jadakiss proves more persuasive, lacing the beat with visions of art gallery outings and “...dinner with the man with the violin playin’.” Busta Rhymes arguably proves the smoothest talker, plying the songstress with heartfelt compliments (“...beautiful complexion, body of a model…”) and offers of lavish vacations before passing her the mic for a lightly-accented closing 16. You know the drill, Booth readers: is this revamp an improvement over the original? Debate away—and keep it locked for release details on All of Me, due out sometime this year.

Listening to this song is like taking a walk back in time to the late 90s. Love the classic, golden era sound. Estelle's vocals are not the story here, though, so I don't know what the purpose of the remix was other than to bring attention to her name (and forthcoming album).

With rap aces like Busta and jada, you just can't fail.

Really thought Estelle just disappeared. Guess this remix was to get her name buzzing, but she's not the highlight of the track, jada and busta are.

The production had a really old school sound to it. But to be honest, the only reason thought I would give this song a listen is because of Jada and Busta.

You know what...I like this far more than the original. I love the 90's feel of the production and adding Busta and Jada made it even more retro.
