The 79th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Erik Flowchild, the T-dot up-and-comer who recently earned reader acclaim for Add-2 collabo Walk In the Park. On his brand new, previously-unreleased The Benefits freestyle, the currently-unsigned emcee flows over original boardwork by Chin. Erik Flowchild is currently working on his latest mixtape, The Delivery Boy; keep it locked to our frontpage for release details on the forthcoming project!

Not bad, the freestyle series has had better, but this is better than the average. Liked the flow on here, and it was easy to follow the wordplay. Gotta give extra props for Booth love too!

Big fan of any contributions to this series, which use ORIGINAL production. It goes to show the commitment level someone has to providing us with a truly memorable freestyle. Mellow. Enjoyable. Impressive.

Production is real chill! something you can just throw on and listen to when you're in that mellow mood ... and flow is extra smooth as well and just like @CB said that makes it easy to hear the wordplay ... BANGER!!! |
