With March Madness kicking off today, I am sure many of our readers have been racking their brains about which #12 seed will beat a #5 or which #1 seed will be the first to fall. Unfortunately, Erene has been too busy focusing on a past relationship to make time to fill out a bracket. On Think About You, the Boston native’s fourth DJBooth feature to date, Erene can’t seem to get her ex off her mind. Despite mourning the end of their relationship, the singer manages to still belt out a bubbly, fast-paced anthem. Backed by a breezy, pop-infused beat from Surefire Music Group, Erene matches the up-tempo production with a powerful vocal performance that will have those newly single feeling positive about the future. Even though her lyrics might suggest a more morose tone, you can’t help but move your feet on this subtly live cut. There is no word yet on a larger project release, but be sure to check out her previous Booth-featured cuts, such as January’s Admit It.
