Is it just me, or are Trey and Usher the only male R&B artists you hear on the radio nowadays? The vets may be dominating at the moment, but new cat Emanny is hoping to change that. On his new single, Emanny teams up with dying-bird ad-libber Jadakiss to deliver a sound that has seemed to be missing from the airwaves for quite some time. Produced by Frequency (who you should know of if you live in NYC or are a fan of Northeastern hip-hop), the record’s smooth, head-bobbin beat doesn’t disappoint. Emanny does the production justice too, with some laid back vocals and a few impressive high notes towards the end, and Kiss puts the final pieces on the track with two eight-bar verses. Although the bass line sounds like a slowed down version of Lloyd‘s All Around the World, I can say that I’d pick Emanny and Jadakiss over Lloyd and Wayne any day. Make sure to check out Emanny’s album Somewhere In Between dropping soon, as well as Jada’s new mixtape The Champ Is Here 3, which is scheduled to drop May 1.

I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like at times Emmany's voice could easily be mistaken for Trey Songz'. That's a good thing, especially considering Trey's everywhere right now.
I'm surprised he's unsigned (and with Jadakiss contributing? Really?) |

How can you go wrong with Jada settin' the tone like that from the very beginning? Great job keeping the track going Emmany!

Really liked this one from the jump. The production is highly enjoyable, Emmany's vocals are smooth, and Jada is always good for a quick guest contribution. Labels will be interested...

Lyrically and vocally, this song is complete. Jadakiss is by far one of the better Mcs in the game and Emmany has that nice smooth voice. All together, this song has high replay value on my Ipod for sure. 3.5

never heard of this guy before but hahaheyyyy sounds firmiliar lol jadakiss is nice on this track "if it was me id treat ya valuable, massage your mind..." finally lyrics i expect from the great jadakiss
beat sounds avg though its not inspiring too me, idk maybe im too picky but i just feel it belongs in the early 2000's probably a song usher would have used. lyrics are impressive and actually carry this song loving the way he sort of shows off at the end and in the middle the way he carries his lyrics are exceptional overall good tracks but its not my style so id give it a 3.5 3spins LOL (srry i broke up the love yall are givin to this song MY BAD |

How can this man not have a record deal? I was GREATLY pleased with song. Jadakiss has been back on his grind recently. I'll give it a 4.5 for now. I really want to round to five, but I just can't get myself to.

First off, Jada did his job in making me check this track out (which is one of the main reasons for having guest features). His short verses were decent, though ive never been a big fan of his on R&B tracks.
Emmany does have a voice similar to Trey's (like some have said). His voice blends very nicely on some very smooth production from Frequency. I dont think Emmany will be unsigned for much longer. |

I really, really like this one. It is smooth, and very singable. I see chicks throwing this track on after they get home from work, sipping on a glass of wine. Winding down for the night. I like is tone. Its very fresh, and could easily be in rotation. Good job Emmany!

I feel like this track was meant for Jadakiss, and Emmany needs to find his own vocal talent. Take Emmany off this and give this track to Jada.

ok first of all, Jada was made for this beat or is that the other way around. ok whatever you get my point. the first line "we too grown for the childish games" is partnered perfectly with beat and he never falls off from there. enough of Jada , lets go to the main guy Emmany he has a soulful voice that would have gotten me to read the bible more if it was the gospel he was preaching. instead hes tryin to smooth talk a girl and i think he would do a good job at it. his voice with jada's slick rhymes give this a 4 from me

Never Been a big Fan of Jada so my whole perception of this track is off. Emmany seems like he could be hot, but I need to hear something a little faster before I past full judgment. Liek the Bass line tho....

Emmany definitely has the voice. He hits the high notes, and has great control over his voice.
The beat is nice and catchy, It's nothing exceptional, but that's a good thing in this case. It allows Emmany's smooth vocals to take the stage. Jadakiss drops some good rhymes, but he just sounds disinterested. His performance contrasts too much with Emmany's spirited delivery. Jadakiss might be what makes or breaks this track for most people-and he breaks it for me. Hopefully his contribution will expose more fans to Emmany's work. I'll be keeping an eye on it. |

I sware everytime I hear Jadakiss an a track he never seems to disappoint...and this is no exception. Good idea to get the song started off on the right note with Kiss...after that though the song put me to sleep. This feels like some old school R&B to me...not to hate on Emmany because he has the pipes...just would have liked to hear him on a more uptempo beat.

Smooth r&b feel but lovin the swirl of hip hop with Jada who actaully lays down some decent lit on this track. The guys voice is good but I can see just a lil more tweaking and breathing excersises to make that sound solid. All around I'd bump it during a chill session.

Another babymaker track for sure and even Jada seems at home in the intro. Nice to hear another R&B voice in the game, not to mention a talented one at that. Definitely similar to Trey but I don't think he would be mistaken for him, voice-wise that is.
Emmany does exactly what I would expect from a track like this, lays down soothing lines and keeps the track soulful throughout. I was a bit worried when I saw Jada was a guest on this track, I mean his voice is rough but I keep forgetting how well he can adapt. This is a tight track. |

Emmany straight jacked Trey's style but hey if it works for you knock yourself out!!
Jadakiss really wasn't needed but also didn't take away from the track!! Beat is good but Emmany really carried the track with his vocals.... 3.5 i'll round up |

Jadakiss is a dying man now, so could of used better support. Emmany has good vocals and is a laid-back song like lloyd makes use of frequently. Good production overall I can put this in rotation.

The joint is smooth, nice vibe and nice vocals by Emmany. And Jadakiss' verses are always a good look in my book, as he rides these beats with the usual ease. Throw it on the radio, give it a few spins, ain't nobody complaining at all.

MIX* too much bass. very muffled. but Good song.
Singer* sounds like trey songs, tony braxton, and tevin campbell at once. Good voice. but a little to girly, just a little. But he's a great artist. Jada* Always the best bars. Watch and u might learn somethin. |
