I am very excited to see the response this one gets. I cannot deny that I am pro-Em (always have been). It's just damn good to have him back. This follows his classic formula and its better than "Just Lose It" and "Without Me."
I am going to try my hardest to get Em inside the Booth for an interview... we'll see.

Cool track right here. Definitely created for the clubs. This isn't the best song I have heard from him, but I guarantee it will be stuck in my head and I will have it on repeat for a while. Dre's production was tight. Banger.

To me this is better that anything I've heard from him since his leave of absence. This is just classic Em. I do think that the singing is a little corney but the beat from dre and the breathtaking lyrics make up for it. I highly recommend you all go out and watch the video for this....it's hilarious.

I used to hate Eminem with a passion, but I have come to see his genious. His quirky attitude mixed wit his flow and lyricism are just Em-one of a kind. This is not quite what I'd expect from a first single, but maybe it'll be one of those that grows on me and ends up blowin up. Classic goofy side of Em.

I personally love it; although the Triumph the Insult Comic dog voice is really unnecessary and slightly annoying. Aside from that, solid on all counts and a definite chart-topper. Welcome back Em.

Production by Dre is catchy as ever, chorus is very catchy and I like Eminem trying to sing along lol. Verses were terrific with the fast paced flow and accent. People anticipated a serious single for a comeback, but Eminem was smart to follow his formula and choose a radio single to create buzz. SHADYS BACK!

I understand that this is the Formula. Em always drops the comical first single. I actually think it is the label's formula, not Em's himself.
I will have to say that out of all the first singles he's dropped with this idea (My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Without Me, Just Lose It), this one is my least favorite. I'm looking forward to hearing this album's version of "The Way I Am" (That's just simply a metaphor for the usual second single that is more serious and epic). But don't get it twisted. Eminem is still the best rapper alive in my book. I just don't want to be disappointed by this album. |

The first time I heard this song I could tell there was something about it that I liked, but couldn't put my finger on it. You know this song is going to be all over the place so I figured I would listen to it a few times through before making my judgement, and my original opinion stays... the hook is ridiculous. This chorus stays in your head all day. It goes perfectly with Dre's bouncy beat. There is no doubt this will stick with many listeners.
My issue with the song is in Em himself. I really cannot stand this 'accent' thing he does. I like the song a lot better towards the end when it isnt as noticeable. The funny thing about not liking the accent is how hard it is to imagine the song without it. The lyrics are alright for a radio song. |

Yes, I'm biased, but at the same time I completely understand why someone wouldn't like this song, but being disappointed?!? Only if you don't know Eminem at all: this is exactly what is expected. Except the song could be better in the goofy genre, which doesn't have to be bad. I'm with Michael Hannah all the way, my least favorite. But if Em is still the same, with the crazy flow and lyrics, what changed? I blame the beat and overall sound. It doesn't move me at all. |

I would normally get excited about anything produced by the D.R.E. - but I really wasn't feeling the production. I understand this is the typical "first single" off an Shady disc but I thought Em and Dre did a better job with flow, production and overall content with previous first official singles such as "Without Me" and "Real Slim Shady," hell even "My Name Is." (No accent on any of those either...)
The video doesn't add much with played out celeb pokes etc. I'm frustrated by the fact that I'll probably have to hear this track everywhere for the next 2 months. I'd rather hear "Crack A Bottle" or the next single for that matter... I'm not an Em hater at all, he shines - but not for me this time... |

I saw this video the other day and it's hilarious!!! Let me just say I LOVE Eminem. He's def in my top 5. Anyway, this song is def something that I would expect from him. He's def not one to hold his tounge and he's not afraid of controversy. This fits his funny and comedic demeanor. I love when Em comes out with playful songs like this. I love his really serious songs as well, but his funny ones are just as great. He contains the perfect formula for a great rapper. I love all sides of him. This is a straight banger in my book and it'll be all over the radios soon.

Music with little meaning, but music nonetheless. Dr. Dre saves lives, in this case, it's Em. But I did like Eminem's singing in the hook, unlike his involvement in the Crack A Bottle hook (borderline, painful). He may need to lay off the degradation of women in his music, he has a growing rap sheet. Not to mention the lyrics...which were borderline whack. Em's delivery on top of some nasty Dr. Dre beat allows him to get away with some stuff. It's decent.

I have never been a big fan of that first single he puts out. I like the music video but can't really get into just the song.
