Eminem has had so much success from Recovery, it almost seems unfair for him to be releasing a fourth single. However, with the help of producer Jim Jonsin, Em’s back again with Space Bound - but will it be radio worthy? Jonsin crafts an acoustic guitar driven, mellow instrumental that sets up nicely for a catchy hook, much the way Love the Way You Lie was constructed. However, unlike Eminem’s Grammy nominated smash, Space Bound doesn’t have the heavy percussion and true hip-hop feel that Alex Da Kid provided on Way You Lie. On the mic, Em’s lyrics are similar to most of his work on Recovery, as he speaks on the struggle he must overcome and more specifically the love battle that he is going through, and although the heartfelt rhymes give you a lot to think about, this doesn’t necessarily stand out from many of the album’s other songs. Still, given Mr. Mathers impressive track record, even if your local hip-hop station doesn’t pick it up, I think we can expect to see Space Bound ruling the Top 40 chart for weeks to come.

Is there any doubt? Looking at the remaining options on "Recovery" for a single selection, "Space Bound" was a no brainer.

Personally, I would have picked "Won't Back Down" as the single. But that's just my opinion. This is still one of my favorites from the album and the hook has been stuck in my head the last couple days.

Extremely happy this is the next single. By far one of his best songs ever, IMO. The lyrics aren't anything to marvel over, but the chorus is pure gold and gives this song replay value. Once you figure out what the hook is saying and how it ties into Em's lyrics, the emotion of the song can nearly drown you. Amazing song.

This is so old though. I don't see why this is just now a booth feature. It's not like the song just came out or anything. Don't understand the delay. But yea this is a no-brainer classic here people.

Finally, this was my favorite track off Recovery. Listen closely, Jim Jonsin Killed It and it's the Hip-Hop of "way you lie" will call it... GENIUS WOrk.

One of my favorite songs off of a really dope album. Em goes crazy lyrically on this one. Not feelin the chorus too much but its aight and the beat is straight

Yes my favorite song off Recovery. This is kind of slow since No Love was released back in the fall but but better late then never. Great lyrics and Jim Jonsin's production is amazing but I can't get over that hook. I don't even know half of what's being said but damn it's catchy. Another hit for Em.

This track is definately has a softer tone when compared to "the way you lie" despite the lyrics being similar. But it does kinds sum up the lyrics of "the way you lie". So I guess you can consider thi the conclusion.

are u kidding me...Ive talked to plenty of people about the album, read plenty of reviews, and most say the same thing: this is one of the best tracks and definitely should be a single I'm still playing this song even though Recovery came out what seems to be a long ass time ago |

Personally, there seems to be a bit of hype about Eminem recently, i don't think this is the best track of his. But for the radio, yeah some fans will be impressed.

I think em is a world class rapper but personally i never was wowed in the way some are by him only where he brings it and when he does i always consider them to be greats so when i say that an em tune is banging i mean its amazing, extraordinary, riveting, moving whatever you want to call it...this song kills it wot an amazing individual bit long winded but he smashed this not sure it will go down with everyone aswell but personally i love it

@JRTheWriter, I completely disagree with you, this song stands out ALOT on the album and he's probably released it as a fourth single because he knew his fanbase loves it. It's different to his normal stuff, amazing hook & bridge. Gives it his all on the verses, don't know what you are on about, this is as classic as Eminem gets.

I personally don't feel emimnem and his newly found sobriety. He's just like everyone else now and workin with anybody like Puffy now. His first 3 albums were total fire, now, I can't even stand listening to him. that being said, track is weak...
