Eminem - Crack a Bottle
Artist: Eminem
Producer: Dr. Dre
Album: Relapse
Label: Shady/Aftermath/Interscope
After several years and numerous leaks, it is DJBooth.net’s great pleasure to finally present you with an official single from the one and only Eminem. Unlike the numerous unfinished versions floating around the Internet, this version has been distributed by Interscope and has been officially announced as the lead single off the long-awaited Relapse. Along with Shady, the rest of Aftermath‘s Big Three show up to Crack A Bottle open and show the world exactly why they got so big in the first place. After Em spits his trademark controversy-heavy lyrics, Dr. Dre brings a laid-back (though more grown than usual) verse, leading up to 50 Cent‘s verse, which is as melodically gritty as you would expect – over Dre’s beat… words can’t explain how awesome this is! After 50’s Before I Self Destruct is released in February and Em’s Relapse drops in March, the stage will be set for hip-hop’s most anticipated album of all time… that’s right: look out for Detox.

Finally the finished version! There;s really nothing too in depth to say about this track, except that Em and Dre GO HARD!!! 50 was on point too but defnitely the 3rd verse for a reason. The production isn't anything CLASSICAL but it is still a solid beat from Dre. Man I cannot wait for this album to drop! 4/5

I'm still waiting for Em to impress me like he did way back when, but this isn't bad...but it isn't what he used to be. His singing is a little much, and the lyrics are wack. Dre's beat is okay.

Great song. Not up to par with some of Em's older stuff but is certainly as better than the disaster that was Encore. Looking forward to Relapse

Ish is poppin' 50 cent was better than average, Dre did his thang and Em' wasn't nearly as raw as I expected but was still ill enough to keep this song playing...
ON a side note there seems to be some time sequence issue on this song cuz I had to play it for times before it actually played all the way through and then when it did; it only got bout half way on the timeline... |

This needs to be labelled a posse cut. Eminem, Dre and 50 got excellent bars on this beat banger, and let me assure you - this is top notch quality hip hop shit we're talking 'bout here.

Lyrically all three a good (especially Dre & Eminem), but the beat could of been better and would of made this song a classic, still though its a banger & i enjoyed the finished product much more then the half finished version

i've been waitin, and waitin, and waitin for Em to come back and silence everyone who thinks Weezy is the best rapper alive. In this is what I get? Em's gonna have to come harder than this. Decent beat, good enough lyrics... sub-par I think. They can do better than this. A LOT better.

It's 2009.. can we please stop talking about The Carter III? Anyhow, great to hear Em back on the seat.. and stunning production from Dre. I really like Dre's verse.. although I'm pretty sure that Eminem actually wrote it. Can't wait for Relapse and the Detox!

Eh I've heard so much better from Eminem that I'm not really feelin this one. He raps alright in this one and so does Dre but Imma have to say 50 did the best. (I had to youtube this song-it wouldn't play all the way.) This is a 1.5.

Ok… this is definitely 2009 and I’m not impressed by this type of songs anymore when I got something like XV’s “Everything’s cool” on my Mp3.
The piano and percussion got old fast, that hi-hat throughout is boring, it’s like the song never takes off! Eminem needs to match his own greatness: even if not talking about serious issues, he gotta come smarter! I didn’t like how he ended almost every verse in the same tone! Like WOW:/, I liked 50 better on this one (surprisingly), flow speaking. But still I don’t mind his lyrics… PS: Happy New Year to the Booth community! |

I heard this joint earlier today. As much as I initially wanted to be super excited about it like it was totally awesome...I couldn't. Really, I still think that Eminem is the best rapper alive, but this isn't the classic Eminem I remember. Truthfully, I never liked the goofy Eminem. I Was more of a fan of the deep, serious stuff such as "Sing for the Moment" or "Cleaning Out My Closet", or "Lose Yourself", etc. Dre's production starts out pretty hot and is decent. Dre and 50 are decent, but I can only throw this in rotation. They have to come a little harder than this.

Are You Serious!!! EMINEM IS BACK!!!! I am so happy. It is the old Eminem. Dre Goes hard on the song like crazy can't wait for the album. 50 Cent is his usual self. The beat is BANANAS. One of the best songs they have featured on Dj Booth in a long time.

I want to like Em in this song but the more I listen to it the more I realize just how bad the hook is. As for his verse I wasnt feeling it too much but Dre saved the track for me. And 50...ehhhhh.

Fear not people, not all of Em's singles are classics (remember Just Lose It?). This is not his best track, but a catchy song to get your attention and head bobbin'. I'm sure he has plenty more in store for Relapse.

I'll tell you like i've been tellling people all the time. Em was the best rapper back in the day but when Encore Came out he had fell off. he hasn't had a decent verse in 7 years so how can he still be the best rapper alive? Oh, and okay song by the way and Em did write Dre's verse

None of these artists did bad, but together something stronger is expected. I heard this yesterday, and both then, when the first version came out, and with this, I can't help but feel disappointed. The track serves the purpose though; a let-know that they're back.

Haha you know the best rapper alive is back... but doesn't mean he sucks all the way, I know he can do better but I been hearing that his new album is coming out as in wayyyy back in the day like he used to rap (in my opinion i don't like) most likely I'll get over it, in other words, I am expecting something more like The Eminem Show. But I still can't wait till his album drops!!! Still give this track a 5 cause of Eminem and Dre!

EMINEM IS BACK! THANK GOD! He is actually my favorite rapper alive. This right here is SICK! Eminem RIPS the chorus...Dr. Dre's Beat is just CRAZY! Eminem's lyrics and flow has never lost its touch obviously! And also, my second favorite Rapper 50 is also on this (I know you haters don't understand how he could be my second favorite rapper, but for reference material please listen to G-Unit Radio parts 1-15). Dr Dre sounds Great on here as well! 50 FUKKIN KILLED IT!!!!!!!! EASILY A CLASSIC!!!

Unusual track for Eminem. If it wasn't for his flow I wouldn't had realized it was him. Anyway I'm not feelin the song! I've never been a fan of Eminem but he pulled out some great singles...this is decent but not excellent, the overall result is boring

Em did fine on this track. I thought production was well done and everyone is on point. Didn't disappoint. And I thought he did good lyrically. I know its not like lose yourself or some of his other good lyrical songs but I don't think he was trying to make a track like that with this.
