The buzzworthy habits of Emilio Rojas have begun to take root as his newest single, Young, Fresh & Fly, has indeed given him wings. Off his Nouveau Slick EP, the record showcases Rojas’ Brooklyn bulldog flow over some impressive Illmind production work. While the emcee is all about his business and supremely confident, Illmind creates a controlled pandemonium. Since punch lines and innuendos only take a track so far, Rojas might have to dig his heels in a bit deeper in order to prove himself to listeners as one of the youngest, freshest and flyest to ever do it.
The production on this is hot. I'm not familiar with anything affiliated with this song - producer, artist, record label, etc. The chorus is pretty hot, and Emilio has some skills. I love how he switches it from slow to fast back and forth throughout his verses. Solid street record, I;m lovin this beat!
Illmind's production is WAY TOO ILL! How it came in what just TOO sick! Emilio Rojas' is so advanced. He reminds me of Lupe Fiasco on some parts, and then some other guys (if anybody comes to anyone's mind, speak up). Dude is fire! Who is this guy? I don't think I've ever heard of him. The second verse wasn't as hot as the first verse. I would also say that the hook needed some "AYs" in there between each line to make it hyper. But this is a definite banger! ALL DAY!
This guy has been on my radar for a while. He keeps bringing heat and I'm starting to love his songs. Im all over this production and I like his delivery on this one. In rotation!
When you see the title you think it probably is going to be stale. However, this is anything but. Very solid mic skills and the production has a fever. Mr. Rojas is officially on our radar.
Production is good, I'm feeling the music and the beat. I like him too! There's something which does not convince me, though...isn't his flow similar to that of Eminem? He really reminds me of the white rapper...maybe I'm stupid lol! This is in rotation, I recognise it is good. I guess it'll grow on me
