After numerous delays due to feature clearances from collaborators such as Chris Brown and Rihanna, Elephant Man‘s long-anticipated Bad Boy debut, Let’s Get Physical, finally lived up to its name and was released last week. Knowing that listeners might recognize the title from Olivia Newton-John‘s hit single of the same name (and the album cover’s exercise theme from the music video), the Energy God decided to spin off the hit on the potential single, Body Talk. While Ele’s Whine Up partner Kat DeLuna sultrily handles Olivia’s original chorus (as do Willie Daniels and Dwayne Shippy on the electric-guitar beat), most of the attention goes to Ele chopping it up with former Dipset affiliate Jha Jha.
I was bumping this album this Friday. It's not bad at all. The best song on that album is "Throw your hands up" featuring Rihanna--track is a straight banger. I like the sample on this track; it was nicely done. Jha Jha is decent. This is different for Elephant man, therefore I admire the risk. The ending sounds like a timbo beat.
The original version of this song is a classic pop song, so for the duplication, Ele automatically gets a mark. However, just like with Flo Rida, to truly appreciate this song, you must listen to it on the dance floor with insane speakers and crazy drunken members of the opposite sex all around. Side note: Jha Jha kills this.
Sean Paul, please rescue us! I like the production. But the women were all better than Elephant Man (more stupid than his name, only his hair)he doesn’t sound appealing to me.
lol Fredrico! Well I don't think Sean could rescue me...I don't like him! His beats are crazy but I HATE his voice and the way he sings...he really gets on my nerves ahah! Anyway this is terrible, they seem to be me while singing inside the shower..and I assure, such not a good thing lol
