e.d.g.e. - The First 48
Artist: e.d.g.e.
Producer: The Jake
Album: Destroy & Rebuild
Label: Unsigned
Not glimpsed in the Booth since last summer, when he brought us the reader-acclaimed Overdose, e.d.g.e. makes his triumphant returns to our pages with The First 48, leak numero uno off his next mixtape. Titled after the popular A&E crime documentary series, the record finds The Jake serving up a deceiptively mellow, soul-sampled instrumental backdrop as the Vancouver rhymesayer delivers a cautionary tale regarding the dangers of life on the wrong side of the law. Presented by TheMadBloggers.com, The9Elements.com and FlyDefinition.com, e.d.g.e.‘s Destroy & Rebuild tape will be dropping sometime prior to Business & Penwork, his forthcoming collaborative album with Danny Diggs. Keep it locked for further details on both projects.

Metallic Merlot was dope, highly repetitive but utterly insane that you didn't care, this lets go of the repetitiveness so that we can truly see e.d.g.e's skills on the mic which by the way, do the beat justice
