From the new hit TV show The Walking Dead to movies like Dawn of the Dead, America’s got an ever growing obsession with all things zombie. And here to capitalize on our desire to get more undead into out lives is the godfather of the Bay Area E-40, who’s grabbed Brotha Lynch Hung and Tech N9ne for a brand new video for, you guessed it, Zombie. Producer J2 crafts an appropriately fiendish beat on Zombie, combining peeling bells with a horror movie vocal sample that also serves as the track’s foundation. Brotha Lynch, one of the undisputed creators of “horrorcore” rap, kicks off the lyrical festivities, followed closely by a 16 from the headliner that highlights his signature flow. It’s Tech N9ne though who really makes this a must listen on the backend, delivering a verse that deserves it’s own Decoded book. If this brand new hip-hop horror flick has you fiending for more from E-Fonzarelli, like a lot more, you’ll want to head over to iTunes to grab a copy of 40’s recently released triple album The Block Brochure: Welcome To The Soil 1, 2 & 3.

I want to give this 4 stars, but I can't. Honestly, I think that Brotha Lynch Hung's verse could have been much better. Also, that hook got really annoying after a while. It was good at first but every time the hook comes up, you hear that one line about 10 times. And of course this track wouldn't be complete without Tech N9ne, but he had a very short verse and it left me unsatisfied. Overall, this should have been a lot better than it was, but it was still good.

Very dope collabo. Makes sense that E-40 and Tech N9ne would work together, as they are both highly respected vets in the game.

Haha I like how the video is meant to look bad (I think) honestly though as sick as E-40's verse was I don't think he stuck to the beat. At all. First verse was the best imo. Tech did his thing.
