At the start of their careers, most emcees dread the seemingly inevitable swarm of comparisons to a more established artist, whether those comparisons make any sense or not (thankfully the, “Like, oh my god! Asher Roth is just like Eminem!” comments are finally starting to end). For Queens native femcee Dynasty, impressively making her DJBooth debut today, though, comparisons to artists like Lauryn Hill and Rah Digga are more than welcome, and after one listen to her new mixtape cut Pushin’, you’ll see that similarities between them can’t be denied. Actually, I don’t want to get too caught up in comparisons. As Dynasty herself says on the hook, “It’s what you do that defines you,” and what she does is kill mics with her own unique style. In fact, all Dynasty had to do was ride this Celph Titled beat as effortlessly as a kid on a carousel to have us wondering how quickly she’ll claim her spot as one of hip-hop’s elite. Pushin’ has a home on Dynasty’s Dreampusher Mixtape, which is available for download now.

Alotta Femcees on the Booth these days, good to see. Problem being, I just can't get into many! I mean sure I can tell they got talent and they can spit but, yeah can't get into it. Production was my highlight.

Amazing is right!!! Dynasty sounds awesome on this Celph Titled track. Lyrics, Flow, and Beat are all on point....."I'm, pushin' till the air is no longer within my lungs...cuz the one who keeps it movin' is the one who over comes" If you haven't checked the "dreampusher" project yet, you are definitely missing out on something special. Just solid, quality hip-hop from top to bottom. Dynasty didn't blow me away, but she can obviously flow with anyone, of either gender, and that mellowed out beat is on point. I"ll have this on repeat for a minute.

REPHRESHING!! Don't sleep on her. You and I both know quality emcees are hard to come by...period, whether they male or female. Dynasty beasty on the mic. Positivty in the message and the beat is hot? Hard to come by! She gain respect and will be put in rotation...no doubt!
