The 101st entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Dynas, the Florida native who recently teamed up with the legendary Slick Rick on album inclusion Family Jewels. On his brand new Henny & Coke freestyle, the BBE Music signee flows over original boardwork by Illastrate. Dynas is currently busy promoting his latest full-length, The Apartment, released Sept. 29 and available now in stores and online.

Dynas turned some heads at our office earlier this year, so we felt it was only right to extend an invite his way. Needless to say, he came on strong here. Nice flow, command of the freestyle, and great original production selection.

In truth Miami isn't known for its freestylists, but Dynas shows that there's some definite skill in the 305. And while a Henny and Coke is always good, on a hot day I'll take a gin and tonic.
