Hip-Hop/Soul gets a revival of sorts from the new Brooklyn duo, Duo Live. Having already been lauded by the likes of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, Fre (the MC) and Sid (the producer) look to further their reputation on the new single, Princess. Over Sid’s Neptunes-sounding beat, Fre offers up unusual yet refreshing advice to all the fellas as the king of “rap for the ladies,” Fabolous drops in and lends his two cents. Although Princess won’t have very much chart success, it still belongs in any indie/lyrical hip-hop fan’s collection, and also will be a good song to play with your woman.
