Tay Dizm‘s debut single found him saying, “Beam Me Up” to some passing extraterrestrials; on the newly-released follow-up, Dizm is once again flying higher than a kite, but for an entirely different reason: he’s finally found his Dream Girl. The Florida emcee doesn’t break any new thematic ground here, spending most of the record lavishing compliments on his love interest and promising to provide everything she desires as long as they’re together. What is refreshing about Dream Girl, however, is the energy with which he woos his special someone; rather than lazily drawling sweet nothings into her ear, he barks them in a rapid-fire, almost Luda-esque fashion. Akon‘s swooning, synth-driven production and sultry hook are all we’ve come to expect from the Konvict Muzik megastar, who imbues the cut with plenty of hit potential. Dream Girl is set for inclusion of Dizm’s currently-untitled, digital-only debut, which will be the first album released under Nappy Boy Digital.

Now THIS, im feelin ALOT, Akon is BANGINN on this hook, Tay kind of gives me a Plies esque rather than Luda though, im likin this alot! Production is on firee!. EVEN though you can hear what sounds like a Beaming sound in the background lol!.

Wow, i really like the production on this...its very fresh sounds great. I love the direction Akon's taking in his tracks lately, the techno vibe is pretty sweet. Tay Dizm is okay i guess, nothing too groundbreaking. Solid track tho, radio should lap this up...

Akon's production is hot...though I wasn't found out the same cheap synthesizer in EVERY beat. If I never heard another Akon hook in my life...it would be too soon. Tay Dizm is cool...nothing special. I'd turn it up in the ride it if came on the radio. No hate here.

Crazy hot hook by Akon with the typical fresh synth production! Tay Dizm has gotten better but his flow is too short. Decent lyrics for a r&b track. Solid track

I basically agree with Michael Hannah.
I knew i liked Tay....i think he outshined Akon and that's good because Akon usually outshines everybody on most songs that he's featured on. Nice. |

Dope song. I like the production and I like how Tay flows on this. I agree wit Michael Hannah that Akon is on way too many songs doing the hook. That bein said, its not a bad hook.

BUT... this is Akon at his best; making others around him sound more talented than they might be. Radio hit.

hahaha, purple 4 lyfe, that is true. He does look like Slick 'Em from Pretty Ricky.
Anyway, the track has some great production, really diggin the synths and I can see this being a big radio hit. Dizm sounds alright on this and has enough charisma to pull this off, Akon's hook sounds nice, but I would have liked another singer to be on it. Akon's voice gets annoying sometimes and this is a situation where the melody is nice, but I would prefer another singer in place. |

Akon's songs have their typical sound but I always love them. This one is particularly pretty, I'm loving the production, it's energetic, catchy and sweet. Akon's singing is like usual and Tay Dimz's (whom I have never heard of) flow is great! Congrats Akon, another banger on your way! :)
