In my nearly two years as a blurbwriter, I have kept a close eye on Booth-heads’ listening patterns, noting the factors that earn certain features rave reader reviews.  As far as I’m concerned, the epitome of “if he’s the lead artist, it’s a hit here” is Drake.  Already the winner of two Best of the Booth awards, the Toronto emcee seems poised to walk away with a few more next year—Uptown and Best I Ever Had are looking like locks for BotB ‘09’s ballot-spots.  On I’m Going In, the Booth darling joins forces with guest verse royals Weezy and Jeezy (who appeared together on Playaz Circle‘s Stupid (Remix), featured yesterday) for a hard-hitting lyrical spectacular. Produced by another site favorite (Needlz), this cut can be found on DJ Folk and Young Jeezy’s street-acclaimed Trappin’ Ain’t Dead mixtape; there’s still no word on whether it will be attached to any other project.

The hook was a bit repetitive but other than that, this was pretty hot. Drake showed some strong lyrical skills (as usual). Wayne was good (I am tired of him right now though, it seems like he's featured every day, but I guess I can't hate, he's doin his job haha) and Jeezy brought some good energy. I dug the production as well. 3.5, but I'll round up.

Surprisingly (or maybe not so) I feel like Weezy hurts the track as a whole. He is aight, but I don't really like him on the hook. I feel like Drizzy could have done a better hook himself (judgin from Best I Ever Had.) Jeezy was unimpressive, but Drake spit a very nice verse. If this song was a solo effort it would have been a banger.

Three top level artists with the production from Needlz..you already know its going to be hot. Wayne was good on the beginning verse and Drake killed the beat. Jeezy was solid and added more street appeal to the song. Production and hook are a little repetitive but you cant ask for much more from a lyrics standpoint. Banger!

This song is HOT! I heard it a few months ago and originally the last hook is with The Truth but Jeezy is a much better add to the track. I love how the beat changes every few lines but the hook can be repetitive. Major rotation. 4 stars

I like the original without Truth or Young Jeezy better. Drake and Weezy complement each other when they are on the same song, and this song is a prime example. Ill beat and lyrics.

Didn't understand why everyone sweated drake so much. He out shines lil wayne. Which helps me understand. Lil wayne comes off mad intense, and it sounds bad when he uses autotune. One dood can't be Gangstarr & Jodeci on the same track.

I would listen to this anytime over the crap that was 'Stupid' by Playaz Circle (read the above blurb). All came pretty good over some nice production. I thought Drizzy & Jeezy killed it, while the verse from Weezy was average (for him).

I dunno why, but I am really hoping for some great collaborations involving Drake in the coming months. I think the likes of Ludacris, T.I. (when he's released), Loso, Juelz, Kanye & Twista could produce some classic tracks

The track is a certified BANGER!!! musically & lyrically & has one of very few Jeezy's verse i can get down to... but the hook is certified wackness, Maybe I would've liked it better if dis had came before Ace Hood's interview with DJ Z ... (Sick of hearin "Go Hard") ...

Original is slightly better because of young jeezy ruining the song, they should've let drake have an extra verse to replace yeezy nevertheless it is an incredible song from all angles.

I had the leaked version and I have no idea why Jeezy was put on the song. I definitely co-sign that Drake should have spit a second verse. He ethered the joint in my opinion. Definitely had a better verse than Jeezy and a slighty doper verse than Wayne.

I love tha original but this takes it to another level...Drake is gonna b a serious asset to Y.M.E. lyrically he has 2 b up there wit sum of better lyricists...with each record he distances himself from tha kid who was on tv and morphs into a rapper
