The winner of two 2008 Best of the Booth awards (Breaking Through in ‘09 and Best Underground/Unsigned Hip-Hop Record for Ransom), Drake plans to prove the first award true with this year’s release of his long-awaited So Far Gone mixtape. Though the project still has no set release date, the Toronto native hopes to secure one on the strength of this newly-released record. Slightly remixing Santogold‘s Unstoppable, Drake enlists Weezy for an off-the-wall guest verse over Diplo‘s power-pop beat. If that leaves you itching even more for the arrival of So Far Gone, fear not, Drizzy fans; as soon as a release date is set, DJBooth.net will be one of the first sites to bring you the news.

The beat is pretty catchy and gets your head nodding! Hook is average and Santogold is mediocre I've heard better from her. Drake and Lil' Wayne were solid on the beat too. I can throw this in rotation

The beginning of the song is just average... the beat does make you wanna nod your head, but the hook is too simple and just not catchy at all... Weezy sounds lazy on his verse at first, but it still sounds OK cuz its Wayne... OK

Its okay,But Drake and Lil wayne are the kind of collaboration to make every song a head nodder. The chorus was decent and the beat is to plain. lil wayne was solid as usual, and satogold is mediocre, and drake switched up his flow to sound a bit annoying. its aiight.

The best thing I've heard outta Drake in a while...very good underground track. The Bass line is great and so is the build-up to it. Weezy's verse wasn't as good as Drake's in my opinion.

I agree ILL WILL. This certainly is some original ish! No lie! Drake came hot on this. (I wouldn't say it's the best I've heard from him in a long time DJ Baer....lol....you gotta peep "Say What's Real"! That came out not too long ago and was way hotter than this . One of Drake's best.) This joint was okay though. The beat was a'ight. Santogold is nothing special at all though. I'll throw this in rotation. I can't wait for "So Far Gone". Drizzy is long overdue.

The tempo on the hook goes terribly with the rest of the song! :s And WTF is Santogold about?! Bland "melodies" and robotic vocals is suppose to be talent?!
This is a never again... I still give a star to each rapper. |

Drake's flow on here brings a smile to my face! I am feeling the boppy-type beat and Drake does his best Lil Wayne impersonation in the intro. Lil Wayne GOES HARD on here and he has just been killing it again lately (not that he really lost it really, maybe he was just super-high for some other tracks). Wayne seals this deal as a BANGER for me! Santogold is aight...not better than my girl M.I.A. which she is clearly trying to take some shine from...

Another Drizzle Weezy F Baby collabo!!! I'm so feelin Drake. Weezy is my F Baby as always. This beat kills. Drake's flow is off the hook on this joint. Weezy sounds so sexy on this track to me. I'm such a groupie for that dude, so I was gonna like it any way, but even with out Wayne, Drake killed it.
