Using a little Coldplay in this song!! Im surprised drake didnt put this joint on his album great song and as usual for the Canadian great lyrics and is on point damn Drake is on fire right now he is going to blow up in 2009!!!

Not as good as the usual stuff from Drake, but still is alot better then what most others come out with. I think it was a good choice of being a bonus track, as his mixtape (though it was good enough to be a album) was head to toe full of bangers.

I've heard a lot of remixes/samplings of Coldplays Viva La Vida, but I believe this is the best yet. What Mega Man did with the production is great, and fits in with Drakes lyrics just fine. But it was a good choice for a Bonus Track.

Drake is one of those rare rappers that has swagger, flow, and wordplay under his belt. I was definitely feeling the laid back vibe of this song, but at the same time the lyrics kept me on my feet the entire time. It's amazing how much Wayne you see in this guy, but I think he's the next step in the hip-hop evolution.

You can't sample Coldplay and expect us not to like it! Come one now! ;) Great ending!!! Classy production! His laid back flow was so suitable, lyrics are really coming from Jupiter (that line was great!). |

The brilliant sample pushed this to Banger status. I like the original song, and it sounds pretty cool over a hip-hop beat. Hey, Hype Williams directed the Viva la Vida music video, so it already had a hip-hop feel to me...
Drake brings it on this one. I don't know if I like the autotune, but ya know what he didn't sound too bad usin it. At least he only went in and out of it. Overall-Nice |

Drizzy is the real, yo. He puts it down on everything! His lyrical content hits on so many levels - a true sign of a lyricst vs. a mere entertainer. He does have a Lil' Wayne vibe to it, but you hear Wayne right there in the studio at the end proppin' him up. I think its a homage Drizzy is paying to Wayne. Which is cool. He has enough of his own style not to get it twisted. Young Berg on the other hand is a different story. Anyhoo, I don't like this as much as some of Drakes other tracks, but this is fo' sho' Fire!!!

Drake showed everybody that he doesnt need wayne on a track to completely kill a song. Some people have obviously forgot that. But his wordplay on this is crazy!

"Its a hard knock life for us..." (similar sound) + coldplay? interesting mix. Although i dig this crazy cocktail of a beat...his voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. silverware scratching on porcelain.

the mixtape is a problem...but drake needs 2 collab with artist that are as lyrically capable as he is like wale,pay$oz, or even charles hamilton cuz he keeps over shadowing wayne n i wanna hear more from drake den cars,girls,gettin fly,n poppin bottles.but this track is still crazy.

Wow, does anyone really understand how crazy that line is...let's break it down people, if you were to sit on a beat (especially if you placed something in your back pocket) you would obviously crush it, and indeed Dreezy crushed this beat...and what would be that crushing utensil well that would be his ass, an ass (in other words lyrical content) that no one could ever match...WOW one more time.. Also liked "your dreams are what my reality are, I have your dream girl riding in your dream car..." T.Dot stand up! |
