Drake kicks off this So Far Gone cut, currently being pushed as a radio single, with a few words of clarification: “You know, a lot of girls be thinkin’ my songs are about them. This is not to get it confused: this one’s for you.” Which is pretty flattering, but—oh, wait, he’s not talking about me? Damn. In all seriousness, though, this cut is sure to have female fans swooning left and right; over Boi-1da mellow, midtempo production, Drake addresses a special lady he considers the “Best I Ever Had.” Showcasing his skills as a singer on the hook, Drake packs his verses with the relaxed lyricism Booth readers have come to know and love—heck, he even manages to make a sexually explicit reference to The Andy Griffith Show sound romantic. For the few who haven’t already grabbed their own copies, So Far Gone is available now for free download, and, seeing that the rapper’s on the verge of signing with Atlantic, Thank Me Later may not be far off.

This is a great song, just like the rest of his new mixtape..but it isn't one I would have picked for a single.

 This is a radio-ready track for the ladies, but one that Drizzy didn't have to sacrifice his artistry to create. He kept to what he does best, which is tight flows on the verses, and he does a great job wit the hook singing. Drake is one of the few artists that I can stand using the auto-tune b/c it's used sparingly and tastefully. This Definitely deserves some airplay!

Drake is for real. He goes hard on this beat and the singing on the hook sounds good. He always brings fire. There's always usually at least 1 Booth song that I have on repeat throughout the day and this will be it for tomorrow. Banger!

I was hoping for "Successful" as a single, but I understand why this is one. It's appealing to the ladies. Drake gets off on this. No doubt. I know he will have one of the best albums of 2009. I feel more excited because I've been a fan from the beginning.

I love his relaxed flow on this and he knows how to make female tracks. The beat is hot and the hook is even more impressive. This is an insane track!! Classic!

Been listening to this one for a few months now and it still never gets old. Doesn't matter what singles Drake drops, if he's on it you can guarantee it is going to be hot. Right now he's killing it on the mixtape scene and I can't wait to here the songs that haven't been leaked yet.

Okay, I'm on record as being an avid Drake fan. This dude never disappoints. He has a very very bright future. I'm very eager to get a full studio album from Drizzy....in the meanwhile Comeback Season and So Far Gone will remain in very heavy rotation!!

Man this cat is the best of the crop. The other cats like Roth, Hamilton, Cudi and Wale are good, but Drake is the home run hitter out the group. Would kill on the radio.

When you see the crowd reaction to this song, its no wonder they are hopeful it can do big things at radio. This is the perfect "female-oriented" single, that isn't a total poppy sell out. Don't quote me on that.

DRAKE is just so sick man! I have about 3 of his mixtapes and they are all in rotation right now. I don't know what it is, but he got it! He has a sick flow and he can sing. He Killed both on this track! Sick beat!
One more thing! Kudos goes to Drake for coming out with Album quality songs on all mixtapes! Very good stuff! I am now a fan of Drake...
