An up-and-coming rhymesayer hailing from Kelowna, British Columbia, Doug Crawford introduces himself to our pages with freshly-minted promo single Bout That. Here, the headliner trades self-assured bars with Motown mainstay Royce Da 5’9” over a slow-rolling beat by DJ Corbett, the producer behind Mike Dreams’ Still Standing Here and Saigon‘s Another Man Down. Corbett also provides chorus vocals. This joint isn’t currently attached to any forthcoming project but, as always, fans can keep it locked for all the latest from Crawford in the weeks and months ahead.

This hits hard. Smart move having Royce kicking off the track, but the song seems too short. A third verse from Doug would have been preferred for a more well-rounded listen. Corbett lays down the wood behind the boards.
