One of the perks of being an up-and-coming hip-hop artist from Dallas is that you’re less likely to be pigeonholed than other cities’ rising stars (just ask the GS Boyz!)  Newcomer Dorrough has taken full advantage of this opportunity, scoring mainstream success with fine females’ anthem Walk That Walk and its follow-up, Dirty South trunk banger Ice Cream Paint Job.  On the official remix of the latter track, a few of Dorrough’s industry friends join the car parade.  First to flow over 2Much‘s instrumental (retained from the original) are ATL superstars Jermaine Dupri and Soulja Boy.  Though E1 Music labelmates Jim Jones and Slim Thug (the only Texan collaborator—what gives?) both sound rather tired, E-40 gets the uptempo jam back on track just in time for D-throwing Alabaman Rich Boy‘s closing bars.  If you’re hungry for more feel-good Dirty South bangers, be sure and scoop up Dorrough Music when it drops on August 4th.

This song first appeared on the Independent Chart on July 13, 2009

Knowing that there would EVENTUALLY be a remix, I was in no hurry to feature the original version of this regionally-catchy song. Then the remix came and BOOM... its here.

Rich Boy and E-40 are the winners in my made-up best contribution contest. Dorrough is actually a distant third.

his lyrics on the original were actually pretty fitting and decent. i understand where your coming from z, i just feel like the original song would do more justice for dorrough. anyways the remixx was alright. soulja boy and e-40 were decent . jim jones sounded sleepy.

"Mama black, daddy black, uncle black, granny black, catch me in a caddilac" - Few people are born with the ability to express themselves in this way....

2Much is one of many innovative producers who is taking the art of production to new and unique area....

I actually rock with this Dorrough cat. I think he's pretty pe for the style of music he makes. I also saw him on 106 and Park and he was a real humble, non-ignorant cat.

Soulja stepped his game up on this. Acknowledge him joshL. LOL.

I prefer the original to this (which I would of given a 3 if it was featured here). Rich Boy kills his verse.

Im surprised there hasn't been any mention about this remix being 'un-necessary'.

I can't lie...this is a Dirty South smash. Like Young Son implied, this can be a guilty pleasure to quite a few of us...Jones sounded tired, as did Thugga (what's up with that? Usually he'd hold it down).

Still, Soulja Boy, E-40, and Rich Boy SMASH THIS. In rotation it goes.

(side note: This would have sounded even better with more Texas artists...I could definitely see Bun B, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Lil' Flip, Big Tuck, Tum Tum, Trae...heck, even Mike Jones could pull off a good verse to this!)

Me and my friends been bumping this song for a while. It's a catchy and fun song to listen to, idk about him overall as an artist yet, but only time will tell. I really liked the end of dorrough first with the expedition and ignition rhyme. JD did good but he almost does in my opinion. Soulja boy sounded very close to dorrough flow wise, thought his verse was good.

why does anyone let jim jones on their songs? I haven't heard one song recently of his that I liked or anyone on here liked. chickens... rotisserie? wtf lol slim thug was weak on this, its a bouncy song and he doesnt really do songs with a swag like this.

E-40 did his thing but i liked JD, Soulja Boy an Dorrough's verses better.

Rich Boy threw some D's on that @*#$!. Ideal remix = Dorough, Soulja Boy, Rich Boy, JD = would have been a killer of a song

Sounds like Soulja Boy has got himself some ghost writers or something since his verse was pretty good!!
I'm disappointed with Slim Thug's verse since he sounded bored!! As far as jim jones well.... IT'S JIM JONES so i wasn't expecting anything spectacular there!!
Everyone else sounded good though!!

It goes way harder than the original. What up to the homies on the djbooth. Dorrough is really growing on me and I'm from Texas. Only thing is this song has no memoriable moments.

It's great to see a heap of rappers come together on an AVERAGE track from my opinion...
I dunno just doesn't float my boat.
What more can I say? Pretty sure I don't need to talk Rich Boy up more everyone else has taken that position :p

Good beat, Southern flow. What more could I ask for? E-40, Soulja Boy, J.D., and Rich Boy are this reason this remix is so hot, more so than the original. Because the original was a 5 in my book thanks to Dorrough, I'd rate this one a 10 if I could.

Dorrough sounded okay.

JD's swag is so syncopated and bouncy. Love it.

Soulja Boy actually sounded better than I've heard from him. Not bad.

Seriously, is Jim Jones asleep? He and Slim Thug sound so much alike, but Slim actually sounds much more G like that. Not his kinda song though, as I wouldn't expect him to be in a fast paced banger.

E-40 is FIRE! He displaces the beat in a good way so well.

Rich Boy was on fire too. I think 40 sounds the best though.
