When the going gets tough, it’s sometimes best to take a moment to look on the bright side. If you find yourself out of a job, for example, don’t let it bum you out—simply appreciate the fact that you have so much time to sit around the house and get High. Donnis, for one, is clearly aware of the benefits of optimism; though this newly-released track off his self-titled debut (which has yet to receive a release date) finds him flat broke and so hungry he could “eat the couch,” he can still enjoy the simple pleasures of recreational drug use. Donnis’ characteristically bouncy verses are backed by a lush, sampled instrumental courtesy of Detroit’s D. Focis, who readers may remember from the similarly mellow boardwork he contributed to Bobby Creekwater‘s Rainman. I dont know about this..the beat doesnt really get you in the high mode and the lyrics are pretty weak. OK

Agree with ultimate, this isn't a very good "stoner anthem" if you will. The bass was a bit too heavy and the flow was kinda lame.

I agree wit the comments above, but I could see some ppl gettin into this just cuz of the subject matter. Nuttin too exciting tho, the flow is kinda boring. The production is nice, but kinda thin.

ok so yet again im gonna disagree with everyone.....yes if your lookin for a sit back and smoke up track this isnt it....but if you look at it as like just waking up goin to get your pay and just have a good day i think this track is kinda hot...

I hate the intro....the beat makes me think of elevator music. That is certainly not a good look. It makes me think he wrote this while waiting in an elevator. I just can't get that out of my head. This song is a joke to me. I'm not feeling it. I'll give him credit for trying to work this beat/production but if he's trying to catch the publics eye with this one its not going to cut it. I can envision what CLT is trying to say, but its just too corny for me.

So i guess imma fan of this so called 'Elevator Music' ... haha ... cos im feelin the feel-good production ... tho agree it does not fit the subject matter ... but i think he kept dis interesting enuff with his flow/lyrics... hook's a lil off-key too ... 2.5 but imma round up cos i liked his previous joint too...

It's alright....I guess. Definitely doesn't blow me away - so I'd say pretty mediocre. The production from D. Focis is original but for some reason when it's all put together it just doesn't sound quite right. Pretty forgettable track but I'll be sure to check his skills with the freestyle later this month.
