Since the conclusion of this past season’s Making The Band, both Danity Kane and Day26 have enjoyed the thrill of releasing a #1 album. Semi-forgotten, however, is solo pop singer Donnie Klang, who released his debut single, Take You There, on the eve of the final episode. As evidenced during the show’s airing, all three acts were able to work and record with talented producer, Seven Aurelius, but since the show has wrapped, both Donny and 7 have continued to make new records. A result of their collaborative efforts is the new song, Rolling Stone, which places Klang’s wide ranging vocals over a guitar-based, futuristic-synthesizer beat. With more music like this, “semi-forgotten” will be an afterthought.
This track has been taken down at the request of the label
This dude's skills is a little better than this. But I dig this track and it's production way more than his previous joint. It's not too great though, but it's decent. Channel 7 did the beat justice.
Not feeling Donnie at all. Props to him for pulling Aubrey, but thats where the line is drawn, haha. There is just nothing special about this song, he is an average singer on an average track, so I have to give it an average rating
i heard this song durin MB4 season, it a nice song i dont think it has much hit potential but it is decent .................this dude will not do good in the music industry because of two letter JT, much as he tries to be different he will always be compared to Justin Timberlake and aint nobody touchin JT especially with the assistance of TIMBALAND THE KING OF BEATS
This doesn't really grab my attention to start! Kinda like a walk in the park track!
PG-13 Kissing music! Not my flava but there's a place 4 music like this!
This song had potential… Imma sucker for any guitar based beat. The synthesizer messed the song a bit though, kinda annoying. The overall melody is decent, and Donnie may be able to sing after all, but at the end is like I heard an incomplete song.
This song is a little too pop for me. It'll prolly blow up on TRL and pop radio stations. The production from Channel 7 is good and I like the beat, but the song it just too pop for my taste. It seemed like he didnt even finish the song. Not bad, better than his first
I think 7 is a great producer a little weird but he has the potential to make someone a star if donnie would of came out with this as the first single then he would be alot more popular i think diddy did him wrong with him being on the first single which was wack to me i like this tho
im type disappionted, these songs arent doin it 4 me. wat i wanna hear is dat love doctor song dat they had him sing over again in da season dat mite be a bigger hit. anyways dsi song will definitely be on TRL but it gets no luv from me.
This is str8... I've seen Donnie Klang a few times on Djbooth... but I think he really has potential ... OVerall, I don't think the production goes well with his lyrics...3!
When I first heard a snippet of this song while he was working on it on the show I was intrigued... But now it's just ok for me, nothing stood out. And I agree with boss dogg, JT got it on lock and by him trying NOT to be a JT imitator he's succeptable to that type of criticism. And I remember the episode where Diddy tells him that he needed to be between Robin Thicke and JT, but he doesn't have enough personality to pull off something like that.. at least not by the sound of this
It's alright. I think it would have been much better if he didn't have that effect on his voice though. I like Donnie because I kind of know his story and saw a some of his struggle to get into the industry thanks to Making the Band...but if this was the first I'd heard of him..I probably wouldn't like him much.
I heard this on MTB but it sounded so much better then...im not really feeling it on here though. I want Donnie to succeed bc he's got potential and i hope he has hot songs on his album....
idk...the producer is hottt...Channel 7 can make some real beatz! Donnie aint no justin and needs to not use the vocal synth...Diddy looks bad on this one. But what can you say, Diddy blows anyway, so thats all hes gonna make!
This song didn't sound all that tight on the show, and it still doesn't sound all that tight here lol. It shows that 7 Aurelius and Donnie have potential tho. It's good if he wants to throw it on the album, but where is that "Dr. Love" track? That sounded kinda tight!
