If you’ve been following ATL rapper Dolla, you may remember Make a Toast from back in October of ‘08. When we first featured the song, the ATL rapper was slated to drop his Konvict Muzik debut, A Dolla and a Dream, early this year. These plans unfortunately fizzled out, and Dolla has been pretty quiet since. This newly-released remix of the record, however, may be an indication that the emcee is ready to get things moving once again. Far from phoning it in, Dolla spits all-new verses on this revamped version of the cut, as well as adding a dash of star power with the addition of everyone’s favorite guest feature, Weezy F. Baby. Even Julian Bunetta‘s production seems to have been tweaked a bit – his triumphant horns, which took center stage on the original, are pushed back for a more bass-heavy effect. A Dolla and a Dream still lacks a release date, but this new remix bodes well for Dolla’s future.

This is hella old cuz I've had this "remix" with the same exact verse and with Wayne on since like Aug. 15. Real talk. I never even knew there was a original with just Dolla until u released it a few months ago. I thought this was always the original cuz I been had it for like 5 months. Anyways, its pretty hot! Wayne is solid on this

Lil Wayne doesn't make artists into stars, he makes their singles hit records and then makes more money off them. This situation is no different. Weezy is funny... and Dolla needs to continue his push!
...And I honestly NEVER get tired of reading comments about when a song premiered or how "old" it is. Amazingly, Dolla's people don't find this version to be very "old", since they have decided to re-service this record to DJs across the country.

I can't deny the hotness this beat provides .... Good delivery by Dolla covering both flow and lyrics .... & Dj Z is right .... Wayne adds that extra layer as always ..... |

I have never written in a comment that a song was old. But this time I have to...it's not old coz everyone is tired of hearing it, I love this song and to me it's always new! But this remix went out together with the official version...or better, I remember to have only this remix on my computer, I don't even have the first version! Great song Dolla, you rock!
