When DMX left his recording home at Def Jam for a multiple-album deal at Sony, he brought with what he considered a classic album’s worth of material. Unfortunately, due to several delays, poor single choices and unsatisfactory marketing, X’s sixth studio album, Year of the Dog…Again, was a flop. The Yonkers native has since left the label, however, and is wrapping up the double album, Walk With Me Now And You’ll Fly With Me Later, set for release this August under Bodog Entertainment. The first single, off the Walk With Me Now disc, is the Devine Bars produced, Already. Fans, who are anxiously awaiting the return of a gritty, hard nosed DMX, should be extremely satisfied.
Is DMX back to the good stuff??? This feels like his old stuff, especially with the barking in the beginning! This style worked for him, making this track hot hot hot.
I hope DMX can regain the recognition he once had because the industry really needs the veterans to take back the spotlight from these ring tone rappers. He might have loss control of his personal life, but his signature raspy delivery and tone is as relevant as ever. This track is a good sign for a successful upcoming project.
When I heard his verse on "Bad Boys" it made me really miss the old X, then this comes out and makes me hope that he is back to his best. I also have to agree with TONE, we need to get rid of this ringtone rap quick.
It's energic and the beat is catchy but I don't like when they shout instead of rapping...and I'm actually sick of hearing motherf... all the time in every hip hop song!
DMX is still and will always be in my top 10 of all time! I am very biased towards him because he is just MY DUDE! This is really HARD right here and it would go super hard in the clubs for sure! I am feeling the energy on this track right here. I hope his whole album is back to gritty X! I can't wait!

Not feelin it. And DMX has been one of my fav's since years back...but if he says Already again, i'm turnin it off. The hook sounds weak. He sounds like he's gonna fall asleep...and his energy doesn't match up with the energy of the beat. Like someone else said--it sounds forced. It's extremely repetitive... -disappointed-

DMX is definitely a beast but this song does seem like he was just tryin to come with something instead coming with that Bite. The song is cool and his energy is cool but I expect more out of the DOG
This is my favorite rapper he stay real and hardcore. He is one of the ones who is trying to get rap back to the way it was. Now anyone can get into rap. They just come out with a dance and they are famous or the come out with one good song and they are consider a rapper. No thats not rap. I'm not saying we have to go back to when our parterns age but if ur going to rap I mean have something to say I tired of all the same shit all rap is running together.
