If you know your Greek mythology, you’ll probably remember the story of King Midas, who, when offered a reward of his choosing by Dionysus, asked for the power to turn everything he touched into gold. By the time his food, dog, and daughter had all been inadvertently transformed into golden statues, Midas realized he had made a mistake; nonetheless, Prague’s DJ Wich has brought back The Golden Touch in album form. On standout track What We Need, two of Cash Money Records’ biggest artists rhyme with a laid-back flow over Wich’s out-of-this-world beat (sampling Imogen Heap’s Hide n Seek). After Glasses Malone sheds some light on the West Coast lifestyle, the one and only Weezy F. Baby spits one of his most focused verses in recent memory. If the rest of the recently-released Golden Touch is this good, Wich might have platinum in his future.

Not into this one at all. Did he forget to add Alvin and the Chipmunks to the "featuring..." list? Wayne is pretty good here, but not worth my time listening to again. Ok, back to watchin them models on the Victorias Secret Fashion Show LOL!

Overall, the beat, sample, and Wayne's verse were all great. Glasses coulda been better, but he did his thing too. A BANGER it is! |

The Wayne verse was okay, I actually liked the sample the most out of song. All around this song was okay, I don't love it or hate it and wouldn't change the station if it came on the radio.

This song is instantly motivating, the sample and whole production is very good and uplifting (yes, the tempo really works), the Chipmunks-effect is oddly not annoying in this case…production alone does 3* for this, the rappers only help! Does anyone remind Wayne’s verse as from a previous song? |

Great Production. I'm a huge fan of DJ Wich. He did excellent with this track. I like how the chorus is like chipmunk. I think it sets the mood. Then you have lil wayne going suddle on it. You also have Glasses Malone going hard. Glasses did better than he normally does. Over all I love this track. This is deffinitely a banger.
