Remember facing serious consequences as a child if you acted a fool at a family gathering? Mothers, aunties, and grandmas would all say the same exact thing about your behavior: you “show out.” Well, DJ Unk brings back a few memories (and plenty of dance moves) with his brand new single, Show Out. Oomp Camp in-house producer DJ Montay provides some catchy kicks, which accompany Unk’s instructions; the nation is bound to see thousands of kids create competitive choreography this fall. Unk’s sophomore album, Second Season, the follow-up to his surprisingly successful debut, Beat N’ Down Your Block, is set to drop later this year.
Same formula as his past hits, but this one lacked the very minimal lyrical content that he had in his past singles. That isnt important though for the type of crowd Unk is trying to please. I like the beat though, and this one has major potential for the clubs, so its gotta be in anyones rotation that likes to party and dance.
Same recipe as walk it out! Sounds almost the same. This will definitely work at the club. Maybe, I would of rated this track higher if I've never heard "walk it out."
This just sounds like Soulja Boy's "Let Me Get Em (Shoot Out). This is retarded, but it will get the chil'ren dancing in the street like fools, so hey, what can you do?
I actually respect Unk because he admitted long ago that he was just a dance music DJ and that he wasn't trying to be a rapper or prove that he has flow. As long as this his aim, he's getting what he wants to get done, done. I can live with that, because obviously there's a setting and market for this type of novelty music. Like if you wanted to get a whole bunch of middle school kids up having fun and dancing, you obviously wouldn't put on Nas's "Fried Chicken". LOL. You'd put this on.
sounds basically the same yes. but he is just stickin to what he does best. and thats makin catchy hits. not the best rapper, but a great producer. but he has to step up and bring something different
Yes the production isn't bad, but it's something already heard. He is annoying and the whole song repetitive and damned irritating! I only save the beat
I am not going to rate this song, because we are real cool with Oomp Camp. I will merely say this: I am NOT his intended audience and I have no choreography planned out for this song/dance.
Bout time you gave somebody from the A some Shine! (DJ Booth) This song doesn't have the lyrics, but it doesn't need it... At All! Straight club Banger, The hook makes the song!
How can Dj Unk even be considered a dj. Hes probably the only one playing is own song. I can even imagine sseing this in the club. Im convinced this is bebe's kids music.
omg i figured i cud go 2 tha librar-e haha!!:) so i'll comment every once in a while....so, this song iz aight. it does remind me of shootout (which i liked) but it aint az gud so itz a 3. putz me in tha mood 2 dance tho;)
only for dancing to only that not to listen to just dance which all he does is make his career on music for to dance to if he do the remix then maybe i actually listen to it walk it out was the only one he's lyrically challenge maybe he need to ask dr. carter for some medicine
