As you can easily tell from our site’s name, DJBooth’s primary audience is, well, DJs all over the world. Therefore, whenever one of them assembles a brand-new song, we are naturally excited to share it with the masses. Despite previously featuring work from the best of the DJ industry, the Booth has yet to come across a record that perfectly describes what a true DJ is about… until now. As DJ Revolution lays down the beat and scratches in the background, legendary MC KRS-One provides a powerful delivery that climaxes with the “Ten Commandments of DJing” (all users should take notes here; Khaled check out #8). All said, The DJ could become our website’s new theme song; for a full set of anthems, check for Revolution’s third studio album, King of the Decks, in stores and online September 16.
Charm Parker, read up on your history. KRS-One is a LEGEND on the lyrics, and this is no exception. A powerful beat to complement powerful lyrics about what DJs are about-this is the makings of a CLASSIC.
This is the 10 Crack Commandment to DJ's. I actually liked KRS on this one, I never have before... With that being said, I doubt I'll listen to it again.
Wow... I'm barely a fan of KRS-1, just basically meaning I respect him as a pioneer of Hip Hop however his music really never touched me... This dude comes hard on this tho, plus I'm a DJ, so I guess I'm biased towards this... good @*#$!
DJ REVOLUTION KILLED IT ON THE BEAT KRS-ONE IS KILLIN IT AND ALL OF HIS NEW STUFF....YOU GOT TO LOVE IT WHEN A ARTIST SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT CLASSIC PERIOD NUFF SAID
Rev is fkn ill. I seen him at shows and He is so official... KRS, dope but I hate all the things Ive heard about him. He is classic though. Great joint.
This is a bad ass tune, granted I love using SSL (Serato Scratch Live), And so true on #8 as much as I love Khaleds @*#$! that we the best and DJ khaled over every track gets annoying.
I don't know what is wrong with your ears! This is a serious beat and a serious rap! What do you want SolJa boy? what the @*#$!? come with something serious then speak if not shut the @*#$! up!
