Smitty - Higher

Smitty
Artist:Smitty
Title:Higher
Producer: DJ Quest
Album:County Lines
Label:Close Range/Blackground/Interscope
Website:Smitty's Website

Southwest Florida’s DJ Quest is now the newest DJ set to release a compilation album.  The first cut from the Core DJ representative’s debut album, County Lines, is the street jam Higher.  Little Haiti native Smitty is the feature MC and on Higher he showcases his whimsically melodic flow that is very hard to not become addicted to.  Quest’s own street-sounding production features a classic Jay-Z sample (U Don’t Know from The Blueprint) that certainly gets the heart beat going.  Chances are that Quest’s County Lines LP will see daylight before Smitty’s oft-delayed (since Fall 2005) J Records release, Life of a Troubled Child.
